The next day

Jungkook was making breakfast when Jimin walked into the kitchen, slightly limping.

As soon as the alpha sensed Jimin's presence behind him, he turned around.

"Good morning, Jiminie. Are you feeling any better? And your feet, aishhh, come here!" The alpha lifted Jimin and set him on the kitchen counter, giving him a quick peck on the forehead.

They had grown really close over the past few weeks.

Jungkook himself was unsure how he had changed so much for Jimin, but he also loved this transformation. His life had been dull and lonely before, but then Jimin entered it, bringing so much joy. Now, the alpha could smile freely and finally call someone his family.

"I’m sorry I overslept, but you have a meeting, I—

"I canceled the meeting. Now stop asking me questions and put your finger on your lips." Jimin quickly placed his finger on his lips, gazing at Jungkook, feeling like a prince. How lucky he felt.

"I’m hungry," Jimin said, kicking his legs and looking at Jungkook with pouty lips.

The alpha turned back to him and smiled, pulling him closer. "Oh, my baby is hungry, but first, we need to take a bath. I’ve already made pancakes for you, princess." He picked him up in a bridal carry and left the kitchen.

Jimin blushed when Jungkook set him on the white sink, pulling his shirt over his head, but he stopped him. "I’m sh-y." Then Jungkook realized what he was doing, so he exited the bathroom, leaving Jimin alone, who blushed and giggled, kicking his feet. "Ahh," oops! He forgot about his injury.

After enjoying a hot bath, Jimin came downstairs for breakfast, where he found Jungkook already seated at the table.

"It looks delicious, wow!" Jimin's mouth watered at the sight of the tasty pancakes, but Jungkook remained silent, lost in thought about Jimin and their relationship.

He had a soft spot for little omega, but he felt he couldn't act on it. Jimin was just a young and innocent omega; how could he possibly think of him in that way?

They were just friends, right? They couldn't be anything more... could they?

He was so focused on making Jimin happy that he lost sight of his own limits and boundaries.

"What’s up, Kookie?" Jimin asked, reaching out to touch his hand, but Jungkook pulled away and looked down.

"Nothing, just lost in thought," he replied.

Jimin noticed the alpha's eyes; they seemed on the verge of tears. But why?

He was about to ask when suddenly, someone entered the mansion, walked over to Jungkook, and hugged him.

Jimin watched as Jungkook's eyes lit up with joy at the sight of the man who just embraced him.

Before long, a young boy came over and hugged Jungkook as well.

"Jimin, this is my friend Kim Namjoon, and this is his little brother, Kim Yoon," Jungkook introduced them. Jimin smiled, and they all settled down together. Yoon turned to Jimin with wide eyes.

"Wow, beautiful! Hyung, you didn’t introduce him to us!" Yoon was clearly captivated by the lovely omega.

Meanwhile, Jimin glanced at Jungkook and noticed him glaring at him as he said, "He’s my friend, a close friend, Park Jimin."

"Oh, okay, but seriously, hyung, he’s so pretty, such a beautiful omega!" Yoon was quite the flirt, starting to charm Jimin right in front of Jungkook. Jungkook managed to keep his jealousy in check, knowing Yoon was a good alpha, albeit a bit flirty. So, it was fine, right?

Everyone was chatting and having breakfast, and Jimin noticed how Yoon was gazing at him with such affection, his smile was just adorable. Jimin couldn't help but smile back.

Yoon turned red and stuffed a pancake into his mouth, quickly... quickly... because Jimin had just returned his smile... and Yoon was at a loss for how to deal with it.

Meanwhile, Jungkook and Namjoon were discussing something about being busy when Jungkook caught sight of Jimin laughing at Yoon, whose cheeks were flushed.
