"I love you, Kookie."
Those words slipped from Jimin's mouth as he gazed at Jungkook, whose eyes were wide with disbelief. He was too stunned to respond. He wanted to ask Jimin to repeat himself, but he held back.
On the other side, Jimin felt a wave of nausea wash over him when Jungkook didn’t say anything or react.
So, he slowly moved closer, gently caressing Jungkook's cheeks. That’s when Jungkook snapped back to reality and met his gaze.
"I trul-y love y-ou, Alpha. I don’t need any other Alpha because my heart, my wolf, my everything is yours. I only need you, no one el-se," the Omega said, looking deep into the Alpha's eyes, which still remained silent, leaving Jimin feeling shattered.
His mind was racing with countless questions.
"This is wrong," Jungkook finally spoke after nearly five minutes.
But Jimin had hoped for something different.
"We can’t be together, Jiminah. It’s wrong. Please, just stop all of this. Don’t love m-e," Jungkook said, turning away. But Jimin quickly grabbed his arm and pushed him against the wall.
"Don’t love me? What are you talking about, Kookie? You know we can’t control our feelings.
I love you, and it’s real. You can’t tell me to stop loving you because if I did, you’d see me dead. Without you, I would die, so don’t say that because I WON’T STOP LOVING YOU," Jimin declared, pulling back. But Jungkook suddenly switched their positions, pinning the Omega against the wall and pressing his palms beside Jimin's head.
"Stop, okay? Don’t you dare talk about death. Do you think this is easy? We can’t be together. Why can’t you understand? I’m 37, and you’re just 17, Jiminah.
You have your whole life ahead of you, and I... I don’t know. Yoon is better for you. Please, just stop your feelings for me because I don’t love you," he lied.
He has to do this because he can't ruin Jimin's life. But he didn't realize he was breaking the omega's heart.
"Liar, I know you love me. The way you treat me, the way you care for me when I'm just your maid, but no. You always treat me well, always say 'I love you' before bed, always make me smile.
Don't hide it, I already know that Jeon Jungkook loves me." Jimin wasn't going to cry; he wanted Jungkook to be honest with him, but Jungkook had already made up his mind.
