#30 | Hello kitty pyjamas

Sunday flew by quickly, it was just a normal day.

No possessions, no spiders, no demons, no food fights or fights in general, no beetle documentaries, no viral tiktoks, no musty toilets to be cleaned, no Bokuto being left behind on a bus, no Konoha jump scaring you, no flying books, no Yachi waking up screaming, And no Yukie screaming at Tsukishima.

It was just a normal day, but it was exhausting for everyone. But even though you were physically tired you just couldn't get yourself to sleep.

You tossed and turned on your futon, The snores of the other four girls echoing against the walls.

You sighed before sitting up, eyes wandering in the darkness that surrounded the room.

You decided that you should go for a walk, it's not something you wouldn't usually do but it's something you felt like doing.

Not inside though, you were not tryna get possessed.

You walked through the dark halls with your phone flash on as quickly as you could.

You eventually got outside, the cold air hitting you as goosebumps rose on your skin.

Probably should have put on a hoodie or something...

You wrapped your arms around yourself trying to keep warm, but you soon adjusted to the temperature since the air wasn't all that cold.

You wandered around for some time before you came across a very climbable tree.

You nodded to yourself before walking up to it, the last time you climbed a tree you were probably like ten, but that wasn't gonna stop you.

You started to climb the branches, only getting a little high up before you almost slipped.

You realised that this route up wasn't going to work, so you jumped down and walked around the large tree in an attempt to find a better way up.

And you did, you started to climb but only got up to the second branch when you heard a voice coming from behind you.

"What the fuck are you doing?" You slowly turned your head around to the source of the voice, it was fucking Kageyama.

You narrowed your E/C eyes at him,
"I'm climbing? Duh!"

He scoffed, "What are you, eight?"

"No! I'm actually sixteen in 3 weeks!" You said, holding onto the tree with one hand and holding up four fingers with the other.

"Y/N."
"What."
"You're holding up four fingers, not three."

You stared at your fingers before dropping your hand, "Ugh, whatever. You get the point."

He rolled his eyes as you started to climb again, grabbing onto random branches in hopes of getting up.

"What are you doing?" Kageyama asked as he watched you attempt to climb in your Hello Kitty pyjamas.

"I am going to get to that branch!" You say pointing to a stable-looking branch nearing the top of the tree.

The branch was pretty high up, if you were to fall you would break something serious.

"You are gonna kill yourself," Kageyama said blankly, watching you struggle to pull yourself up.

You put your foot on a thin twig, "I wouldn't put my foot there." He said as the twig broke off.

"You're distracting me—"
"Or there."

"How do you even know that you'll be able to get up there?" He asked the only thing he was thinking about was how you were the dumbest person he had ever met.

"Alright, I'm just blocking you out because I gotta concentrate here." You said back to him, only focusing on the task at hand.

"You know most teenagers don't wanna climb trees at one AM?"

"All teenagers wanna climb a tree at one AM, except maybe you, because you're boring!"

"I'm not boring, I just have better things to do."

"You mean strategising for fucking volleyball?"

"Yes, strategising for volleyball."

You ignored him, trying to hold onto a beach and huffing because you were out of breath.

You sighed, "Please tell me I'm almost there."

And 'almost there' you were not.

You had barely made it two metres off of the ground, and you were still very far from the branch you wanted to make it to.

"Does the air seem a bit thin to you up here?" You breathed heavily trying to catch your breath.

(If no one could tell that whole thing was a frozen reference from when Anna was climbing the mountain😜)

"You're a dumbass..." Kageyama scoffed before walking up to you.

"Get down before you break a limb." He said grabbing you by the waist and placing you back onto the ground.

"Hey, I was making progress!" You slapped him softly on the shoulder.

"Don't hit me!"
"I'll hit you if I fucking wanna!" You raised a fist up to him, he just rolled his eyes at you.

"Are you sure you're fifteen, you act seven." He said blankly.

"I do not?!" You defended yourself, lowering your closed fist.

"You were just trying to climb a tree, You are also wearing Hello Kitty pyjamas."

"Okay and? Noya and Tanaka climbed a tree?"

Kageyama stared at you blankly, "Yeah okay whatever." You rolled your eyes.

"But what's wrong with hello kitty pyjamas?!" You furrowed your brows.

"Nothing wrong with it...is what I would say if you were fucking eleven." Kageyama turned around and started walking.

You followed him, "Hello Kitty is cute?!"

"If you were a child?" He said back.

"Technically I am a child, I'm not eighteen yet meaning I'm a minor. And a minor is a child so...suck on that!"

"Exactly what I mean, you're so childish."

"So are you?! Or did you just hit puberty or something so now you are all 'Mr mature', because last time I checked you play Adopt Me more often than a normal teenager would!"

Kageyama came to a stop and turned to look at you. "Who told you that?"

"Um..." You looked around and chuckled nervously, not wanting to butt anyone out. "Uh, tell me what?"

"Don't be stupid." He rolled his eyes.
"I'm not?!"

Kageyama just ignored you and started walking again, which you followed closely behind.

"Why are you out here anyway?" You asked.

"I wanted fresh air, a room full of 12 boys gets stuffy y'know." He said, annoyance in his tone.

"Sucks to suck bitch." You whisper, your intention was for him to not hear that. But he did.

"Shut up." He continued walking. "Why are you out here, was your whole goal just to climb a tree?"

"No, I came out here for a walk!" You said matter-of-factly.

Kageyama rolled his eyes, not that you could see it because the only thing you could see was the back of his head.
