Today was the day.

You were now officially Sixteen, and you were having a party!

You were informed of everyone who was showing up.

Twenty Two people, only two in the group chat weren't coming. Kinoshita and Narita because they didn't even receive the invitation due to never checking the group chat.

Tanaka made sure that Ennoshita was coming, since Ennoshita didn't even know if he should go because he wasn't really close with a lot of the people showing up, only people on the Karasuno team. Also, the fact he wasn't close with you; the literal birthday girl.

But Tanaka managed to get him to come, so right now you were running around your house making sure that the food table was neat, and that all the extra food was hidden so someone like Konoha wouldn't run away from everyone just to eat party food.

You needed to make sure your hiding spot was Konoha, Yamamoto, Tanaka, Noya, and Lev proof. So you hid it in Keijis room because you knew that anyone who went in there would be murdered by Keiji himself.

And plus, His room had a working lock. Yours still wasn't fixed from when you shoved a pickle in it.

The time was One-forty, the party was at two. So that meant you still had twenty minutes until anyone would start arriving.

Or like five, because you knew that Yukie would show up way too early. She never said she was going to, but it was Yukie Shirofuku we're talking about.

After securing a bunch of extra chips, lollies, and everything else that would send your dentist into a coma under Keiji's bed, you walked out of his room locking the door behind you.

You jogged down your stairs, only to find your mother putting bottles of alcohol on the food table.

"Mum, what the fuck are you doing?" You stand there with a raised brow.

The dark woman shoots her head over to you.
"Oh honey, you're sixteen now. Plus Keiji told me how many people were coming. If you're gonna drink I'd rather you do it here!" She smiled.

"What if I don't wanna drink?" You say, making your mum scoff.

"Oh please, I was eight years old and sneakily taking sips of my mum's wine." She said, "You don't have to drink, but I'm sure someone would. Like Yukie for instance! She's a...bright soul."

You stand there shocked as your mum walks past you with a smile, probably to go do something in the backyard.

All downstairs of the house and backyard was open for the party, it wasn't like there was anything wrong with people going upstairs but it was a lot less roomy up there than it was downstairs.

It was just a hallway with a couple of rooms, a bathroom, and a storage closet.

You stare at the drinks on the table and shrug, if your mum was gonna let you drink then you weren't necessarily going to complain.

You walk over to the food table and make sure everything is organized.

This was a pretty big deal for you, having a party that is. You tried throwing a birthday party once in the first grade, and no one showed up.

You remember sitting outside of your house until your mum was calling you for dinner because you were sure that at least one person would show up. Or maybe everyone was just late.

After that party, you kind of just stopped trying, and it's not like you had friends to invite anyway.

You pick up a lolly and chuck it in your mouth, scanning over the table after making some little adjustments.
