It was a little past one in the morning, and you just couldn't sleep. You had zero idea why exactly this was happening, considering you used up a lot of energy today.
You toss and turn over and over, but inevitably sleep did not come.
Defeated, you let out a small groan. Your hand moves towards your phone as you pick up the device. Doing this probably wasn't a good idea and it would just keep you up longer, you did not care.
Pressing the button, you turn the phone on. The bright screen was a contrast to the dark room, making your eyes squeeze shut immediately.
You open them to a squint, turning your brightness down. It was now that you said you had a new message.

You subconsciously smile, before clicking the notification and unlocking your phone.
It was sent about an hour ago.
