Finally we reach the great hall and Enzo quite literally runs to a seat and starts eating.
"What the actual hell, Enzo?" Daph says laughing slightly and i can't help but laugh along with my other friends as we sit down and eat as well.
After eating we had potions with Ravenclaw and History of Magic with Gryffindor. Luckily we only had homework from Snape. We had collected 40 points together.
Days passed left and right and I didn't really care for the triwizard tournament but Diggory, Krum and Delacour were selected, and then apparently Harry Potter was chosen, looks like he put in his name but then again, because of it we would have a ball.
"Bloody hell!" Pansy had laughed when we found out that he had gotten in.
"I reckon he won't even last 5 minutes in!" Draco said and we all laughed.
"Let's cut him some slack, I'd say 3 max!" I laughed and they doubled over laughing. "But honestly, it was just unfair for those who wanted to kill themselves." I said and they nodded in agreement still laughing.
Anyway, back to the Yule ball.
During these days, People were asking each other left and right. 32 boys had asked me already but I had turned them down.
On the 1st task of the tournament, the contestants had to get a gold dragon egg, that was being guarded by a dragon that was sorted out of view.
Swedish Short-Snout Dragon # 1, Swedish Short-Snout (blue-gray) - Cedric Diggory was the first contestant. He transfigured a boulder into a Labrador dog, which diverted the attention of the dragon long enough to let him steal the egg. It was boring but rewarding to watch.
Second was Fleur Delacour, who faced a Common Welsh Green. She enchanted the dragon to sleep, but while retrieving the golden egg, the dragon snored and let out a jet of flame that set her skirt alight. She extinguished the flames, and retrieved her egg. It was actually rather entertaining watching it.
Viktor Krum was third, facing a Chinese Fireball. He used the Conjunctivitis Curse to blind the dragon and retrieve his egg. Expected.
Potter faced a Hungarian horntail. He used his broom to lure the dragon out and was successful with it. (But we couldn't see what was happening when he flew away.) but he came back and got the egg.
One day after the 1st test. I came to a surprise at the great hall after having muggle studies on a Friday.
"Belle, would you like to accompany me to the Yule ball?" I hear my best friend asking me, I stay there stunned looking at his beautiful self. It was surprising to me.
"Oh god. Such a bitchy move." I mumble as i hug him. "But of course I will. I'd rather go with my best friend than any other person." I say happily.
My mother sent me a parcel after that. It had inside it a beautiful dress.
Anyway, professor Snape taught us the traditional dress and we perfected it.
After perfecting our dance, we continued our preparation studies for our O.W.Ls exams.
