The next day dawned with a sense of anticipation swirling through the corridors of Hogwarts. As the morning sun cast its golden rays across the castle grounds, I found myself steeling my nerves for a conversation that had been weighing heavily on my mind.

With determination coursing through me, I sought out Seth, my heart pounding with apprehension as I approached him.

"Seth, can we talk?" I asked, my voice steady despite the nervous fluttering in my stomach.

Seth turned to face me, his expression guarded yet curious. "Sure, Iris," he replied, gesturing for me to take a seat beside him on the worn, cushioned couch.

I took a deep breath, gathering my thoughts before launching into the conversation that had been haunting me since the previous evening's announcement.

"I just wanted to clarify things between us," I began, my voice tinged with earnestness. "I know things have been a bit tense lately, especially with everything that's been going on..."

Seth nodded in understanding, his gaze softening with empathy as he listened attentively to my words. "I understand, Iris," he reassured me, his voice filled with sincerity. "I want you to know that I support you no matter what."

I took a deep breath, steeling myself for the question that had been nagging at the back of my mind ever since I saw his reaction last night.

"Seth, I just wanted to clarify something," I began, my voice tentative as I searched his gaze for any hint of discomfort. "You don't... like me, right? I mean, the other day, you seemed a bit... uneasy about my relationship with Draco, and I just wanted to make sure..."

Seth's laughter cut through the tension like a soothing balm, his eyes crinkling with amusement as he shook his head. "No, Iris, that's not it at all," he reassured me, his tone gentle yet firm. "I'm genuinely happy for you and Draco. There's no need to worry about anything, okay? We're good."

A wave of relief washed over me at his words, a weight lifting from my shoulders as I realized that my fears had been unfounded. With Seth's reassurance, I felt a newfound sense of peace settle over me, knowing that our friendship remained steadfast and unwavering despite the complexities of our situation.

"Thank you, Seth," I murmured, a grateful smile lighting up my features. "I'm glad we had this talk."

With our conversation drawing to a close, Seth flashed me a reassuring smile, his expression filled with warmth and understanding. "Anytime, Iris," he replied, his voice tinged with sincerity.

Despite Seth's reassuring smile, a nagging sense of unease lingered within me, whispering doubts that I struggled to silence. His words had provided reassurance, yet his smile felt forced, as if concealing something beneath the surface.

I scolded myself for overthinking, reminding myself to trust Seth's words and not to read too much into his demeanor. He had clarified everything, and it was unfair of me to dwell on insignificant details that only served to fuel my insecurities.

With a mental shake of my head, I pushed aside my lingering doubts, determined to focus on the positive. Seth had assured me of his support, and I refused to let my overactive imagination tarnish the bond we shared as friends.

As soon as class ended, I stepped out of the charms classroom and was greeted by Draco waiting for me. His presence immediately brought a smile to my face.

"I missed you," he said with a flirty grin, his voice smooth and casual, yet sending shivers down my spine.

I couldn't help but laugh at his playful tone, feeling a rush of butterflies fluttering in my stomach. His low voice vibrated against my ear and neck, filling me with warmth and anticipation for the moments we would share together.

We made our way back to the Slytherin dungeons, our footsteps echoing softly against the stone walls as we walked. As we reached the familiar corridor leading to our rooms, I realized I needed to retrieve something from my room.

"I'll be right back," I told Draco with a smile as I headed towards the door to our dormitory.

I pushed open the door and stepped inside, expecting to find my roommates bustling about. However, to my surprise, the room was empty. My roommates were nowhere to be seen, leaving the space eerily quiet and still.

On Scarlet's bed, a parchment was laid out neatly, bearing a message written in her elegant handwriting.

"Have a wonderful time alone with Draco. Violet arranged for her and Theo to stay at an inn in Hogsmeade, while I'll be bunking with a friend from Ravenclaw. Eula will be spending the night with Blaise in his dormitory.", the note read, followed by a mischievous winky face.

A mixture of surprise and amusement washed over me as I read the message. It was typical of my roommates to concoct such a scheme, but I couldn't help but appreciate their efforts to give Draco and me some much-needed privacy.

"Those cheeky bastards," I muttered under my breath with a chuckle, shaking my head in disbelief at their audacity. It seemed they were determined to ensure that Draco and I had the opportunity for some alone time, even if it meant orchestrating a temporary vacancy of our dormitory.

Grateful for their well-meaning intervention, I couldn't help but feel a surge of affection for my roommates. With a smile, I folded the parchment and tucked it into my pocket before heading back out to join Draco, eager to make the most of our unexpected moment of solitude.

I returned to the common room and beckoned for Draco. I invited him up to my dormitory, explaining that my roommates wouldn't be staying there for the night. He hesitated for a moment, considering his options, but ultimately decided to follow me.

As Draco closed the door behind him, enveloping us in the privacy of my room, a newfound sense of anticipation fluttered in the air. It was just the two of us, alone in an actual private space, and I couldn't help but feel a rush of excitement tinged with nervousness.

After all, we were just two teenagers alone in a room... with a bed...

As the tension in the room thickened, Draco closed the distance between us, his eyes intense as he tilted my chin up to meet his gaze. With a slow, deliberate motion, he leaned in, his lips meeting mine in a soft, lingering kiss.

At first, it was gentle and tender, a sweet exploration of each other's lips. But as the heat between us intensified, the kiss deepened, igniting a fiery passion that consumed us both. Our lips moved in sync, each touch sending sparks flying through my body, until the kiss became a fervent dance of desire and longing.

With a hesitant yet determined touch, Draco's fingers traced the outline of my robes, his movements deliberate as he began to undo the clasps one by one. The fabric slid off my shoulders, pooling at my feet in a soft heap as he revealed the layers beneath. Each touch sent a shiver of anticipation coursing through me, the air heavy with the promise of what was to come.

As Draco lifted me effortlessly into his arms, a surge of exhilaration pulsed through me, my heart pounding with anticipation as he carried me towards the bed. The soft mattress greeted us as he gently laid me down, his gaze locked with mine in an unspoken exchange of desire and longing.

He leaned in closer, his lips finding mine in a searing kiss that ignited a firestorm of passion within me. Our bodies melded together as we lost ourselves in the heat of the moment, the world outside fading into insignificance as we surrendered to the intoxicating embrace of our desire.
