Every minute in holding had been terrifying. Ex-manager/reporter/stalker soon found out that all that expensive money for plastic surgery in Korea was wasted once you fucked up. He was a white collar criminal, good for siphoning money, not a blue collar one, who could fight or think that dirty.
His face now looked like mush, all that money was wasted. Inside his head, he cursed the man who wouldn't kill him when he begged him. He had pleaded with the guard to let him turn in evidence on the murder of El Captain, and THIS is why he looked the way he did!
He snarled, still blaming everything on New Thitipoom, but he knew, deep down where his heart still remembered the good boy who took care of a dying mother and the sister who took her own life, HE caused this mess. HE did this to himself because of greed. He didn't want to ever be called trash and not have the money to save another loved one.
Lying in the corner of the holding cell, he contemplated death again. He knew the public defender would not help. El Captain had laughed about how useless they were, how unless THEY wanted a person saved, they never were. Suddenly, prisoners parted like the sea and there was a pair of very, very shiny shoes in front of his eyes.
The stalker looked up and sighed. "If you're here to kill me, please do. I'm tired of being a fuck up." It was hard to speak with a broken jaw and smashed nose, hell, he was barely breathing, even with his mouth open.
One of the men with the shiny shoes thrust a pad of paper in front of him and growled, "Write down your answers."
Interesting... the stalker wrote down one word: who?
The man in the center of the holding cell gave a big, big belly laugh before responding. Not giving a damn about the filth in the cell, he knelt down to stare directly into the stalker's eyes. "You really don't know me?" The stalker shook his head, indicating no. The Mafia Boss grinned wide. "You will soon. Scrape him off the floor, boys. He is mine now."
The Boss glanced around the cell, holding a finger to his mouth in the classic "shh" motion. "I was never here, was I, if you all want to live." Immediately, heads hit the floor, and arms stretched out, indicating compliance, except for one man, far back in the shadows. The Boss, without blinking, pulled a small knife out of his glove and in, in a flick, it was in his neck. He didn't even stay to watch the show, as the blood spurted over the other inmates. "Retrieve my favorite blade."
The stalker crawled after him, with piss stains down his pants. He wasn't sure if he was in a worse hell now but it had to be better than getting his face kicked and his ass poked every hour.

Ms. Tam grinned at the short message from the 2nd in Command from the Boss. "Damn, I could begin to like his efficiency!" From the new command centre, her fingers began to tap on her laptop and a cheerful whistle was heard behind the heavy curtain.
Tam rolled his eyes before walking in. "You're annoying. What did he do?"
"He has the man which we talked about." Tam nodded. She continued. "He's not in any condition to talk, but he'll take care of it. Also, I picked up the trail on the lawyer. He's not completely clean but he's not scum. He's just a lawyer." She sighed, putting her knuckle in her mouth. Scum was a debatable word, since she, too, was a lawyer.
"What the fuck do you mean by that?" Tam sighed. Sometimes he just didn't understand his wife. Maybe... nope, not going to even think it! Last time he said something anything close to being misogynistic, he slept alone for over a week! He watched as the most sly smile he'd ever saw creep across his wife's face appear.
With a wave of her hand, she motioned him closer. "Haven't you ever wondered why I have several computers and laptops? Or why I never go anywhere, and I do mean, never, let this one, leave my sight?" He shrugged, as there were secrets that each part of their jobs were best not spoken aloud. She winked and continued softly. "Look."
