Taehyun massaged the creases on his forehead as he placed his phone next to his ear, hearing the rings of the phone go off, until he heard a familiar voice on the call line. "Yumin?"

"Yes, hyung?"

"I'm not coming to work today. Can you please inform the staffs that?" Taehyun asked as he poured himself a cup of cold water to drink.

"Oh sure. Are you feeling alright, hyung?" Yumin's concerned voice broke through the line.

"Yeah, I guess. Why?" Taehyun asked, gulping down the cold water as he waited for an answer.

"Oh, it's just that you never ever skip a day of work, so I was just simply concerned." He could hear the sheepish smile of Yumin. "Well then, take care Taehyunnie hyung!"

Taehyun hummed, pulling the phone away from his ear.

The truth was that, he was feeling a bit burnt out these days and wasn't sure why. He just... felt exhausted. He didn't even felt like getting up from where he was sitting. He couldn't even get up this morning, until Beomgyu had to literally drag him from the bed to the kitchen to get him something to eat.

Side effects of falling in love, is what he believed the symptoms were of.

Taehyun forgot how foolish he was, falling in love with his ex-boyfriend slash fake husband. Seriously, someone should hit him on the head with a block of wood or something. For forgetting the rules of their relationship.

How could he let go of himself this easily?

How could he let himself fall in love with the man he swore to never see and talk to again?

He just didn't get what was wrong with himself.

But on the other hand, he knew he couldn't blame himself. I mean, it was Choi Beomgyu who was his fake husband. Who wouldn't fall in love with him?

That man was just.. easy to love.

With the simple acts of care, stupidly beautiful eyes and smile. And just his stupidly warm words that could melt the ice off someone's heart.

He wonders if he's the only one who's catching feelings right now.

But letting that go, Taehyun is determined to be a bit more productive, especially by taking a day off for himself.

So, he's going to a bookstore to buy some books and spend a day by himself.

"Taehyun," The familiar tone of the deep voice rang through his ears again, making him feel a little light-headed due to how unreal it sounded to him. "Are you going somewhere?"

Taehyun internally shrugged his thoughts off and gave a curt nod. "I was thinking that maybe I could go to a bookstore to buy some books, read them, and you know just have a little productive day?" He replied, picking up his off-cream coloured tote bag from the counter.

"Oh, can I tag alone?" Beomgyu asked with expectance.

"Oh- uh, sure, why not?" Taehyun replied, not giving it a second thought.

"Great, lemme go get ready in a minute! Wait for me!" And Beomgyu hopped off the couch, jogging upstairs to get ready, leaving Taehyun alone in the kitchen.

Around fifteen minutes later, Beomgyu walked downstairs. And Taehyun felt like fainting due to how good the older looked. He was wearing a dark blue knitted sweater, tucked in with blue washed jeans, and his hair was messily styled, making the other look even more unreal.

It was a simple look, really. So why was Taehyun going crazy?

He doesn't know either.

But throwing those thoughts out of the window, Taehyun walked out of their main door with Beomgyu besides him.
