Finally, it was the day of the benefit festival. It was put together very quickly so that Tommy would be able to perform.

The newest and smaller acts performed first, including Tory. The Cobras were on at the dusk slot as they were getting quite well known around the L.A. music scene. And obviously, Eagle Fang were the headliner.

Tory laughed tearily at the roaring applause as she composed herself again and took a drink of water. "But we're not here to mourn just yet." She said bringing the party back with her next song "Don't put dirt on my grave just yet"

Eagle Fang's set:

The band had just finished one of the most electric concerts of their career and were supposed to walk off stage before the encore but the men met in the middle for a group hug after bowing to the audience.

No one could see what else was going on or hear what they were discussing.

"All right! So that is the last time you will see one of the greatest rock bands ever (if I do say so myself) together as a 5 piece but lucky for you lot there's a whole load of amazing new artists ready to take our place as you've seen tonight." Johnny announced grabbing his microphone.
At the side of the stage Robby's face paled "I do not like where this is going."
"California, would you please welcome back to the stage The Cobras and Tory Nichols!"
"Knew it!" Robby growled.

Trying to keep the live show running to schedule some crew members tried to push the reluctant performers onto the stage. Robby was extra stubborn but he didn't really have a choice when a camera was turned on him and the crowd cheered. Johnny came and met him halfway "Come on, kid. You used to love coming out on stage with me."
"When I was 6 and not trying to build a career on my own merit."

A/n: I'll admit this isn't much of a chapter but that performance between Carrie Underwood and Axl Rose was basically my inspiration for this story.
