[Name]s POV:
Clarisse La Rue confuses me.
One day shes nice to me and the next shes completely ignoring me, its been like this for a few weeks now, one moment shes nice amd the next shes giving me the cold shoulder.
Its very confusing, not to mention Percy has been picking fights with her more often ever since she fixed my guitar and I started being more around her, I have a feeling he knew that she was the one to fix it but i'm not sure.
I was currently sitting with Annabeth and Luke at my cabins table, Annabeth was reading a book, sitting opposite of Luke and I, as Luke and i chatted. I am quite close with the two of them, Annabeth is like a little sister i sadly never had amd Luke is my best friend, not to mention Luke and I are betting on when Percy and Annabeth will end up together.
As we continued talking i felt something dropped on my lap, i looked down to see a bag of candy sitting on my lap. I turned around to see who gave it to me, only to see Clarisse running off to her table behind me, some of her siblings snickering as they looked between me and her.
I was a bit confused as to why her siblings are acting that way, but I didnt pay much attention to it as I started eating the candy. I quickly noticed how Luke and Annabeth looked between me and Clarisse, Luke was smirking at me while Annabeth just continued reading her book.
I knew what was coming, ever since Clarisse started acting that way towards me Luke has been teasing me about it, asking if theres something going on between us, which i always denied.
"Dont even." I said, glaring at him. He quickly shut up, looking away knowing i would beat his ass if he tried to suggest anything, we were only friends, actually i dont even know if were friends, i will ask her later during training.
-----------------------------------
"Come on, dont tell me your giving up now." Clarisse smirked as I groand, i was currently laying on the ground, sore from all the training, i will never understand how she can have so much energy. She smiled and reached out her hand, helping me up to my feet.
"I'm too pretty for this." I mumbled, my legs hurt like a bitch, i needed Clarisses support to even stand. I could see the guilty look in her eyes as she helped me to one of the benches, helping me sit down.
"Sorry, got carried away." she apologiesed as she handed me some of her water, which I gladly took. I took a few sips before giving it back to her, muttering a quiet thank you. We sat in comfortable silence for a bit, just enjoying each others company.
"Clarisse, are we friends?" I asked, looking up at her. I could see the way she blushed a little, her eyes moving to look at the floor, refusing to meet my gaze.
"Only if you want to be." I smiled at her, she seemed flusterd and embaressed talking about it, the Clarisse in front of me is completely diffrent from the confident and intimidating Clarisse from moment ago, but I dont mind it one bit.
"I would like to be your friend." I said, causing her to finally look up at me, her cheeks a bit redder then before. She quickly returned back to her usual self, standing up and grabbing her spear.
"Come one, lets train a bit more, friend." oh dear, father please save me.
