Footsteps approach and soon three guards appear in Jensen's line of sight. They take him out from his cage, Bella still pleading with him not to do what he is about to do, but he remains determined.

Knowing she is pregnant ignited a fire in him that had been dimmed and he will be damned if he isn't going to use that fire to free the woman he loves and their unborn child.

Jensen is dragged through the camp all the way to Logan's war tent. He knows the old man won't make it easy but he is determined to free Bella, no matter what he has to do to accomplish it.

They enter the war tent and he sees Logan sitting on a high chair. Once Jensen is in front of him, Logan looks him up and down before signaling the guards to bring Jensen to his knees.

-"What do you have to tell me?"

-"I want to make a deal." - Jensen straightens, wanting to look the man in the eyes.

-"What deal?"

-"I will tell you all you need to know about my brother's strategies, his army's training, everything. In return, I want Bella's freedom and for her to be sent back to my brother's camp, alive and unharmed."

-"I don't want your brother's strategies. I want him to suffer."

-"I will renounce my brother as my King. That way you can kill me and not fear repercussions. But only if you let Bella go."

-"You would betray your brother for a woman?"

-"I will do whatever I need to do to save my wife." - Jensen locks his back in place, while Logan looks at him silently, considering his offer. Logan knows that if Jensen renounces his brother and then dies, it will hurt Josh more than just straight up killing Jensen.

-"You have a deal. On the table there's paper and ink... Start writing."

The smile on Logan's face tells Jensen all he needs to know. He stands up and walks over to the table, picking up a piece of paper and a pen, and starts writing his letter to Josh. He knows exactly what he needs to write so Bella will be safe.

A few minutes later, as Jensen is dragged back to the cages, he feels somehow lighter than he has since he was first captured. Even if this means that by morning he will be dead, at least he managed to save Bella. That thought alone is enough to make it all worth it.

As he is shoved back inside his cage, he hears Bella asking what he has done, just as she is pulled from hers. He doesn't answer, not daring looking back at her and see the disappointment in her eyes.

Bella is pulled away from the cages and lead straight to the entrance of the camp, her horse waiting for her there. She tells the guards she wants to talk to her father, but one of the soldiers tells her he doesn't want to talk to her.

She wonders what the hell happened in that tent, what kind of deal Jensen has made with her father that led to her being forced to climb onto her horse and be given a sealed letter to deliver to Josh.

Bella tries to argue, but before she can say anything, a white flag is shoved in her hand, while someone behind her slaps the rear of her horse, making it shoot forward.

As she rides through the battlefield, all she can think is that this isn't good. Not in the slightest.
