Team Kakashi Resemble

Naruto was there. For Mito now. Hugging him. Shooting sweet nothings in his brothers ears to calm him down. Apologises for his past mistakes. Reassurance for his brother's mistake.

"It's okay. I am here now. Don't worry. I will never let you go now" whispered Naruto in Mito's ears. Slowly and slowly, Mito's emotions coming back to him.

The others came forward towards the siblings. "We are sorry too" said Kakashi, Sakura and Jiraiya in unison. "We shouldn't have given up and tried more harder" said tsunade. "Please forgive us too" said Sizune.

Mito's eyes shrank to the lowest. Tears roll down slowly. "It's okay. It's none's fault, other than me" said Mito blaming himself. It's true he can't see through the forgiveness and regrets anymore. The decisions he made and the path chosed will always come to haunt him down. He is one to blame in his own perspective now.

"We are sorry" they said in unison understanding the gravity of the situation. Mito hugged Naruto back. Naruto suddenly paused sensing the hands around him. The joy was boundless for Naruto at that moment. His brother is back. The moment he always wished for is really in motion.

"I am sorry too. I know it would change anything. But still I am sorry" said Mito. Naruto broke the hug and as always, their sibling signature. He kissed the forehead of Mito. Mito had a little blush as he always had missed his brother that no one can compare. Deep down he knew too that the end will end up something like this. That's why he isn't that surprised.

"I really am sorry. And I want to show you all that. So vow. I vow to protect everyone, even with my own life" said Mito pumping his fist in the air, as they got up. Naruto smiled at that and said "we believe you"

Mito gave a faint smile realising what he had missed all of these years. But the reality hit him in another way too. That Danki had been using him. For some sort of reason. Though Mito got filled up another dose of warth , he still pretended to be fine now.

"But you will be considered as a rouge ninja now? Won't you?" Asked Sakura. Mito smiled at her before answering "no. I was within the area. So don't worry. I won't be count as one"

It hit Naruto and the others again. Mito was always near. Always in the reach. But they couldn't save him from falling into this pit. They had always tried their best for Sasuke. But let Mito vanish. It was more paralysing for Naruto.

After an hour of talks

"Aahhem" coughed tsunade for their attention. And everyone did got it. Everyone looked at her direction. "Naruto and sakura had already passed the bell test" said tsunade before continuing "and I saw how strong Mito had become. So I am announcing this here and now" she said before taking in some air.

Everyone got tense in that moment. Especially Kakashi.

"Kakashi Hatake. You will be the incharge as before" said tsunade as Kakashi replied with a yes.

"Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, Mito Uzumaki. From this day i assign you three as the part of team Kakashi. The team 7" said tsunade a little pride in her voice.

"Yes my lady" said Sakura pumping up "let's goo" exclaimed Naruto in excitement. "Thank you for accepting me" said Mito

Mito's POV

After we were again assigned under Kakashi sensei we parted our ways to our home. Naruto and i went to our home.

The way back home was too silent. Naruto didn't say a word. Neither did i. I was totally embarrassed with my actions and guilty too.
"So.....did you forgave me yet?" Asked Naruto. I tensed up hearing that. Why do he think he did something to upset me?

"What's there to forgive? You did nothing wrong anyways" i said. "I heard it all Mito. Your mumbles. I heard it. Infact everyone there heard it. I know how i ignored you back in the past" said Naruto as his face dropped. Nose crunched and eye brows furrowed with sadness and regret.

"Oh.....sorry. I didn't mean you all to hear that" i said feeling awkward about my inner turmoils to get out like that. "NO. YOU DID NOTHING WRONG TO SAY SORRY. i am the one who should be sorry. I ignored you so much. I always helped others and ran for other's life, but forgot about the one who is dear to me" said Naruto as a tear drop left his eye.

The pale moonlight brightens the colour of both of our blue eyes. The cool breeze slowly brush against my bare cheeks and ruffle my hair with it.

"I was a bad big brother" said Naruto. I girthed my teeth and clenched my fist as I spoke.

"I tried to kill you too. That makes me more of a bad brother" i said but Naruto didn't left a gap by saying his words a little higher tone "but isolation is more bad. That's the actual reason behind your actions"

Then the next few moments it ends in the hall of silence again, where not even the echoes can be heard.

"Well. Seems like we both have our mistakes and had a role to play being the bad guy in each other's life. Right?" I asked which Naruto replied a soft and slowly "yeah"

I run a little forward and got infront of Naruto. I grabbed his both hands in mine and said "then why don't we forget about those past and start it all fresh" i said with a glittering smile as my eyes started to shine again.

No one's POV

Seeing the shiny smile and stary gaze of Mito, Naruto fell into a blushing mess. Finally his brother is back to normal. Finally his brother is back, with his same old glittering smile and shiny gaze.

Naruto felt like his heart throb with pain , love , and adore at the same time. Naruto slowly smiled and said "yea. You are right. We should start it all fresh and forget about the past dark memories"

The both siblings hugged each other and said "I missed you so much" at the same time which made them burst into laughter.

The next day.

At hokage's office

"Bye big brother, Sakura and Kakashi sensei." Said Mito waving a bye to the team. "you should really come with us. Afterall you are our team too" frowned Naruto. "I would have big brother. But......I have some things to talk with lady Hokage" said Mito as the team left leaving Mito all by himself for some important confessing.

Mito slowly turned towards the hokage. "I will tell everything but first I need to do one thing" he said to the hokage.

Tsunade opened her mouth to utter a word "what?"

Mito walked towards the lady and handed her a green jacket vest. "My chunin vest. I would like to give it to you. I don't think i deserve this post." Said Mito which caught the hokage off guard.

"But why" she said raising her voice a little. Mito dropped his head and looked towards the ground with a saddened face.

"After I did all that. Do you think i deserve to even walked around? No right. But you all let me anyways. So instead take my post as chunin. I am better off as a genin" said Mito as a tear drop left his eyes.

The lady sure did understand him but she didn't say anything to him. Instead she took the vest and threw it to the dustbin. "I have to set off the team" she said and went out of the room leaving the cold atmospheric situation in the room on which Mito stood for a good while.
