The Brothers Battle

"m-...m... Mito. Is .....that you?" Asked Naruto with shakey voice. His voice was crackling with sadness and heart ache. "Kakashi sensei. Our test is over. That is not a good way to do things" protested Naruto thinking it was just a genjutsu as a beed of tear rolled down his cheeks as the pale moonlight brightens it up.

"Foolish brother. Do you not believe your eyes or are you idiotic as ever!" Asked Mito with the lowest coldest voice he can ever make , sending chills down everyone's spine present in that area.

"S.so you are really here......you are still alive?" Asked Naruto as his voice cracked and tears rolled down his cheeks. Mito doesn't respond at all. Just looked dangerously cold into Naruto's baby blue eyes.

Naruto was shocked , flabbergasted, excited, happy, sad , all at once. He couldn't even say what's he feeling at that moment own self. Naruto started running spreading his hands apart indicating for a hug.

But as Naruto was very much near the tree Mito was standing on, just something landed an inch near Naruto's feet making him stop in the mid way and look in disbelief. It was an Ink slicing projectile. Which is thiner than a paper and sharper than any blade.

Naruto: did Mito just tried to cut my legs by that? What is he doing? We just reunited after so long , after i thought he was dead and he is doing this? Maybe he is playing and trying to show he has gotten stronger! Yes that's have to be it. Naruto thinks out of naivety. Little does he know about Mito coming there for vengeance.

"Quit playing games Mito. Come and give your big brother a hug" said Naruto still tears rolling down his cheeks.

Mito furrowed his brows like showing pity to someone and said "How pityfull it is. Naive as ever. Hopeless clearly". Naruto closed his eyes folding his arms and crunched his nose. "What are you talking about. I have grown up now. See" Naruto said pouting.

"Naruto look out" said Sakura as Kakashi jumped and saved Naruto from the other slicing ink projectile that came towards Naruto.

"Hear me out Naruto. It's either not Mito himself which has a lot of chance but if he is then he is out of his mind right now. Don't think he is your sweet little brother from old times. He have a look of bloodlust in his eyes" said Kakashi trying to slap some reality into Naruto's head. But Naruto being the naive one doesn't buy it at all. Infact he get's up and try to talk to Mito again.

"Foolish. Sometimes you gotta hear your sensei you know" said Mito cold tone still in his voice. Naruto takes a step back, he finally sense something is not right. But he still doesn't care.

"Who are you" yelled Sakura pointing her hands towards Mito. Mito doesn't even glared at her. He just simply ignored her.

"I had no intentions to come here. But i still had a thing called revenge in my mind right! So I just rushed towards here for it" said Mito with a slow pace of tone. "Revenge?" Asked Naruto.

Kakashi , Sakura, Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Sizune was in disbelief of the situation. First question of them was is Mito really here when Naruto clarified that he was dead. Second of all was Mito really out of his mind if he is really him in there right now? Many questions ahead but answers seems to be zero.

"Yes revenge. And the victim is...........you, Naruto" said Mito. Naruto now really feel uneasy and he takes some steps back. "Who the hell really are you" asked tsunade screaming pointing her finger and crunching her nose in anger. "Don't even think of interfering." Said Mito as Tsunade backs off with a *tsk*.

Everyone seems to understand what is going on. Only Naruto was the one who really don't get it at all. His remorse , regrets and aches accumulating at once and blinding his decisions. He doesn't really know what he was doing. He doesn't get what is the gravity of the situation is.

"But why me?" Asked Naruto with a saddened face. His head dropped to the ground finally getting that Mito was serious of it. Naruto's heart ached thinking his brother's intentions will turn out like this.

*Tsk* Mito put his broom behind his back folding his arms in the moment. "Don't you remember how i got between you and Sasuke's attack to stop you Both and lost my arms and leg?" Mito asked with blank face. The moonlight clearly making his blue eyes shine but not at all. His eyes losing shine all at once.

Deep down Mito too was happy to see his brother. All grown up and healthy. But Danki's advice and teachings blurring out his mind. Deep down Mito too wante to just hug Naruto and squish him as he used to do when they were young. But nothing seems to be in the right situation at all.

Kakashi: this again? Is he trying to get revenge because they didn't stop and really attacked him?

Sakura: why? Why is everything going upside down. First sasuke and now Mito too!

Tsunade: this brat have some serious problems. Trying to kill his own brother?  He clearly doesn't know what's he upto.

Sizune: this seems to really get dark in there. Should we go and stop him?

Jiraiya: is this the same kid i used to know back then? The same Mito, who used to smile on every silly occasion ? I don't see a glimpse of cheer in his eyes anymore. All is see is darkness and despair.

"Yes I do remember that" said Naruto, sadness clear in his voice, as he looked down the ground and bite his lower lip. Shame , embarrassment and regret crawling up his feet.

"Don't think I am sad for that. I will happily die to save you" said Mito raising his both brows still folding his arms.

"Then why you gotta take revenge" Naruto snapped at Mito. But Mito was barely scratched by it. Instead he gave a *tsk* and takes back "i wasn't even sad that i was in the verge of death because I tried to stop both of you to save just you. But I was sad for another reason. And the actual reason behind which I am choosing the path of revenge or so". Naruto now became curious and so did everyone there present.

Everyone: what can actually be the main reason for his actions?
