"Just try it, you'll like it!" Gracie urged the younger girl."I will never eat a cakepop again."
"Just because I vomited it on your converses 6 years ago?"
"Yes! Exactly that." Charlotte managed a laugh, Gracie having made the girl's mood brighten.
The pair were now back at Gracie's apartment. Gracie had ordered them some dinner and a cake pop for herself. Charlotte quietly ate her food as the brunette scrolled on her phone.
"I can't believe Abby's birthdays in a couple of days." Charlotte broke the peaceful silence.
"I know. I've planned a few things. I just have to finalise them." The older girl smiled, placing her fork down.
"Oh really? Like what?" Charlotte asked.
"You'll have to see, won't you." Gracie chuckled. Charlotte then stood up, cleaning her plate and flopping onto the couch.
"Oh I'm so not leaving this couch for days." The girl smiled widely, looking over at Gracie. The brunette chuckled before joining her.
"Holy shit your freezing." Gracie gasped, her hands rubbing up and down Charlottes arms.
"I'm always cold. That's why your my personal heater." The younger girl's nose scrunched as she smiled. Charlotte grabbed the remote, turning on the tv that sat upon the fireplace. Gracie let her eyes linger on Charlotte's face longer than usual, counting the faint freckles that covered nearly every inch of her skin.
"Ooh! How about... Spirited Away?"
"Gracie? Gracieeee...." Charlotte dragged out her sentence as Gracie was shaken from her trance.
"Shit. Sorry. Spirited Away sounds great." The older girls face flushed.
As Charlotte pressed play, Weenie jumped up onto her lap. "Hey good boy. Who's a good boy?" The raven haired girl chuckled softly, patting him gently.
The pair were inseparable as Weenie would follow Charlotte anywhere he could. You would often see them outside running around or watching movies together on the couch when Charlotte wasn't working.
"So, are you working on anything new?" Charlotte yawned, running her hand through her hair.
"That's for me to know and you to find out..." Gracie replied, leaning her head on Charlotte's shoulder.
"No- hey that isn't fair!"
"It is very fair."
There was a comfortable silence as the pair continued to watch the movie. Weenie had his snout in the crook of Charlottes neck, his soft breathing making the girl giggle.
"I have to meet up with Taylor tomorrow, I think around 6 in the morning." Charlotte muttered, ignoring the movie and just looking at Gracie. The duos legs were intertwined, their body's fitting together perfectly.
"Oh cool. I was just gonna stay here for a while." Gracie chuckled at the funny look on Charlotte's face. "What?"
"Oh god I think Weenie farted." The younger girl held her nose, closing her eyes in disgust.
"Jesus Weens!"
Both girls laughed out loudly, Gracie clutching her stomach. Weenie's head pricked up, looking at both girls. The rest of their night went smoothly, Gracie accidentally falling asleep next to Charlotte. The younger girl snapped a quick picture, trying not to giggle at how cute she looked.
