The next morning unfolded with the deceptive appearance of normalcy. Suna, Kaya, Seyran, and Ferit gathered for breakfast, trying to bury the unpleasant memories of the previous night. The aroma of coffee hung in the air, creating a facade of serenity. However, this semblance of peace was quickly shattered when the maid hurriedly entered the room.

"Nukhet Hanım is here," she announced hesitantly, a note of concern in her voice.

Suna's stomach twisted into knots, and her hand instinctively reached for Kaya's. They shared a tense look, silently acknowledging the storm that was about to descend upon them. The door creaked open, and Nukhet entered, her presence a looming menace.

"Good morning, my dears. I hope I'm not disturbing your morning rituals," Nukhet uttered with a chilling smile, her eyes betraying a malicious intent.

Suna's unease deepened, and Kaya's attempts to conceal his discomfort were futile. Nukhet took a seat, an unsettling air of authority surrounding her. Her words, however, were laced with a venomous sweetness that sent shivers down Suna's spine.

"I've made a decision," Nukhet declared, her tone dripping with malevolence. "I'll be staying here for a while. It's been too long since I graced this mansion with my presence, and it's only fair that I'm here to witness the birth of my grandchildren."

Suna's grip on Kaya's hand tightened, her nails digging into his skin as the weight of Nukhet's words sank in. Seyran and Ferit exchanged horrified glances, mirroring the shock and dismay etched across Suna and Kaya's faces.

Attempting to maintain a semblance of control, Kaya spoke, his voice strained. "Mother, this is unexpected, and it's not an ideal time. We need our privacy, especially with the twins on the way."

Nukhet chuckled sinisterly, dismissing their concerns. "Privacy is a luxury, my dear. I've decided, and I won't be swayed by inconveniences. I'm here to be a part of my family's life, and nothing will stand in my way."

Suna's eyes widened with dread, foreseeing the turmoil Nukhet's prolonged presence would bring. The fragile peace within their home shattered, replaced by an impending darkness that threatened to engulf them all.

The air in their room felt suffocating as Suna battled the waves of panic that threatened to consume her. The news of Nukhet's prolonged stay had triggered a torrent of fears, and Suna couldn't shake the nagging worry that her presence might drive a wedge between her and Kaya.Gasping for breath, Suna excused herself, fleeing to the solitude of their bedroom. Her racing heart betrayed the anxiety that clawed at her, making each step heavier than the last. The room, once a sanctuary, now seemed to close in on her, amplifying the echoes of her fears.

Suna slumped onto the edge of the bed, her trembling hands clutching the sheets. The walls seemed to press against her, and the weight of impending turmoil settled like a stone in her chest. Panic gripped her, its icy tendrils tightening around her throat, rendering her speechless.

In the dim light, Kaya entered the room, sensing the heavy atmosphere that lingered. His eyes softened as he saw Suna, vulnerable and overwhelmed by the storm within her mind. He approached her cautiously, aware of the fragility of the moment.

"Suna," he whispered, his voice a soothing balm, "you're not alone in this. I'm here."

But Suna, caught in the grip of her panic, struggled to find solace in his words. The fear of losing the stability they had built together clawed at her, leaving her paralyzed in the grip of her own anxieties.

Hours passed in a blur, the shadows dancing on the walls as Suna grappled with her fears. Eventually, exhaustion claimed her, and she drifted into an uneasy sleep. Kaya remained by her side, a silent guardian, watching over her as the turmoil of the night unfolded in her dreams.
