Betrayed

Boards was coming closer and closer but Ridhima was so disturbed by the thought of sudden disappance of abhay. She started smiling less, people thought it was because of boards but no one could see the pain in her eyes.
At the school,
She was roaming here and there with her group but she was soo disconnected as her mind was thinking of 'someone. While strolling her eyes locked with someone She knew. It was sambhav Abhay's bestfriend. He saw her with frightened eyes and planned running from there but was failed as she already caught him by his sleeves and made him bent towards her
"Bhaiya! Kaha bhaag rahe ho"
"Arey ridhi tum thi, kuch nahi bas kuch kaam tha toh wahi jaa raha tha" he lied, sweat forming on his forehead
"Acha! Woh mein kya keh rahi thi- apko koi Khabar h kya abhay ki?" She said with a hopefull look
"Nahi mujhe kuch nahi pata" he said trying not to stutter but he couldn't stop himself blutering out the truth after looking at her gloomy face which once used to be full of jay and confident
"Ridhi listen to me, you are like a lil sister to me and I just can't keep on lying to you"
"What are you saying is everything alright with him"
"He will not come back" he said with a heavy heart ready to face the wrath from the creature beside him looking all shocked and helpless
"W-What?? Bhai if it's a prank pls don't do this. It's not at all funny" She said trying to get a hold on herself
"I wish it was- but it isn't he got selected at the camp and he will be completing his studies there only" he completed himself feeling sad for her
"H-he didn't even thought it important to tell m-me?" She said trying to hide her emotions
"He wanted to tell this firstly to you only but he didn't wanted you to be distracted from your studies"
"Studies, that's a he care for he don't even think about my feelings "  She sarcastically chuckled and left from there as all she wanted some time alone
