NOTTI DIDNT WANT TO get out of bed, infact the boy didn't want to even leave the house, he was embarrassed, yesterday he was supposed to be getting his hair re-done, but his hairstylist had cancelled on him last minute, now the boy believed his hair looked a mess
As he walked to the food bank the boy kept his head low and his hood over his head, the boy was usually fine with his natural curls but today for some reason it was a frizzy, curly and in his words 'nappy' mess that he couldn't deal with, he had even broke his brush trying to comb through it
"Morning Notti" Max greeted the boy as he entered "chips already in the back, so you just get yourself sorted and work in the back with her" he instructed the boy earning a nod from notti "ight"
In the back sadè was washing down the chopping board that she had just previously used, she was humming a song to herself, stopping when she heard Notti enter turning to face him
She had her usual smile on her face which of course the boy did not return "good morning Ethan" she greeted the boy "how have you been?"
"Man my hairstylist got me fucked up" notti groaned, Sadè raised a brow at the boy, surprised that the boy had actually answered her question and not ignored her and also taken aback by the use of cuss words
She was about to correct him before he cut her off "don't cus— the bitch cancelled on me, how as the hairstylist are you cancelling on me, im the client, only I'm allowed to cancel" he ranted out loud
"Oh" Sadè tilted her head not knowing how to respond to the boys rant, "where you supposed to get your hair done again?" She asked
"Yes, and now my hair look fucked up, I look homeless!!"
Sadè gasped aloud at his words "Ethan you can't say that, that's insensitive!"
"Why?"
"You do realise your standing in a food bank, we have the homeless coming in and out of here everyday, that's a mean thing to say, imagine if you were homeless and you— I could never be homeless, the fuck" the boy cut the girl off
Sadè shook her head at the boy choosing to ignore his ignorance, moving to the other side of the kitchen, she searched through the cupboards, finally finding the flour on the top shelf, the girl going on her tiptoes attempting to reach for the bag of flour and failing
Notti watched the girl with crossed arms, finding it amusing watching her struggle to get whatever she need off the top shelf
