(Slight Angst/comedy.)
The day Geto died was when everything changed.
It's been a year now, and you'd probably expect Gojo to get over it.
Well he wasn't. It was hard to let go. They made so much memories together, good and bad.
And he missed Geto. But it was too late before he could say it.
He cooped up alone in his apartment after a long day's work, his lonely thoughts occupying the silence.
He poured himself a glass of the finest alcohol he bought along the way and downed it.
You'd never catch Gojo with a drink, but here he was.
And he was a lightweight, so he got drunk pretty fast.
He drank and drank until he was on the verge of passing out.
And then he turned to his left. "Suguru?" He drunkenly called.
It was obviously a hallucination. But he was too drunk to realize.
"Satoru." He gave him a gentle smile.
He blinked a few times. Was this real? (No.)
Gojo embraced him with all his might, nuzzling into his shoulder. "Suguruuuu..."
"Ugh, get off me!" Hm? That wasn't his voice.
Shoko pushed him off, causing him to fall back on the couch.
"Shokooo?? What're you....doing here?" He dragged rubbing his eyes.
"You called me, idiot. And I have the spare key so I let myself in." She informed, a hand on her hip.
"You need to sober up."
"Noooooo~ I don't wanna.." He whined, laying back on the couch lazily.
"Get your ass up!!" She slapped him on the knee.
He didn't budge. She sighed with frustration, looking around for a moment.
She came back with some water, handing it to him.
She sat down, watching him stare into it.
"Well?" Shoko crossed her arms, waiting for him to drink it.
"...He loved me." He hiccuped a few times.
She pinched the bridge of her nose. "Here we go.." she sighed, knowing he was ready to ramble.
"Hey, Shoko." Gojo rested his head on the back of the chair, staring at her.
"Do ya' know what it's like to love someone?"
"No. And I don't want to know. Drink the water before I force it down your throat." She warned, putting the cup up to his lips.
He sighed, taking a few sips until he didn't want to anymore.
"Drink more." She urged. He wasn't even half way done yet!
"No." He stubbornly replied, crossing his arms.
"Drink." It sounded like this was the last time she was going to speak before she was going to go through with her threat.
He pouted, taking the glass from her before downing it all.
She helped him into bed, going the extra mile to tuck him in.
"Go to sleep. I'll check on you in the morning."
"Wow, thanks mom." That earned him a flick on the forehead.
He heard the front door shut before closing his eyes.
"Suguru, you have something right there."
Gojo pointed on his own face to guide him where it was.
"Here?"
"No."
"Okay..here?"
"No."
"Her—"
Gojo reached for his face, his thumb grazing the side of his lip.
"Ah. Thanks."
"There wasn't really anything there. I just wanted to do that." Gojo admitted with a grin.
Geto hit him on the head out of slight embarrassment.
"That was stupid."
"Was it really?" Gojo questioned, a playful smile dancing on his lips.
"Yes." Geto confirmed, his arms folded over his chest.
"Aww, are you mad?" He teased, draping an arm around his shoulder as they walked.
No reply. "Oh? You are mad? That's real cute, Sugu—"
Geto captured his lips with his. The kiss lasted a few seconds before he pulled away.
"There. Now I've one upped you."
That was way worse than what he did!! But he liked it, nonetheless.
"Now you're the stupid one." Gojo retorted, his face undeniably red.
Gojo opened his eyes to see sunlight pouring into his empty room. He frowned.
He put an arm over his eyes, sighing heavily.
His head was pounding. "Fuck.." he muttered, turning over to press his face into the pillow.
