(inspo from Ao3 BomikaLover  I basically brought it from Ao3)

Ray had informed them about the old man's cave and how the junk and stuff were used to hide the man cave. He warned them never to go there because it was in ruins and could suddenly collapse and kill them. However, Chapas ears and out the other, and she forces Miles into her shenanigans. (Miles and Chapa aren't dating yet)

At Junk n Stuff

Chapa and Miles survey the remains of Junk n Stuff. Hidden beneath wood lies a pile of junk. "Huh, it looks different from when I was last here," Chapa remarks. "You think?" Miles responds sarcastically. Chapa gives him a dismissive look, rolling her eyes. She heads to the back. "Hey, Miles, come here," she says, motioning to the rear. When Miles joins her, she points to the old elevator. "Tada! I think we should go down it," Chapa says excitedly. "Uhh... I don't think that's the best idea due to the fact of-" Miles gets cut off. "Blah, blah, blah, who cares," before you know it, Chapa drags Miles into the elevator and presses the button. Unusually, the elevator is moving slowly, but the kids, unaware of its normal speed, think nothing of it. "Where do you think it's going to take us?" Chapa says. "I don't know! You dragged me here," Miles says. Suddenly, the elevator stops with a big shake and the dim light flickers off all the way. "Come on, man!" Miles says.

"My people don't do stuff like this, bro, yet I still did," Miles says, getting into his head. Chapa is just looking at this guy. "Do you have your phone?" Chapa asks. "No, I didn't bring it because I got it taken away for fighting Mika over the nice bathroom, but I would have found another device if I knew you brought yours! So please tell me you have yours, Chapa?!?!?" Miles says. "Umm... It kinda fried trying to load all the updates it missed, so Schwoz is fixing it," Chapa says hesitantly. "Okay, give me a moment," Miles says before going to a corner and screaming. Chapa flinches before trying to use her electricity to power the light bulb in the room so they have light. The next thing you hear is "I found my phone!" from Miles. Chapa turns to him. "I forgot I took it just in case something like this," he says, signaling to the elevator"happens."He continues. He calls Mika and it's ringing for a second before it's picked up.

"Hello, Mika," Miles says into the phone. "No, it's Bose," Bose says from the line. "Oh, hey Bose. Where is Mika?" "Oh, she's in the shower," Bose says. "Okay, Bose, I want you to listen very carefully and do this as fast as you can once Mika comes out of the restroom," Miles says. "Okay, I'm listening," Bose says. "I want you to tell Mika we are stuck in the abandoned Junk n Stuff elevator," Miles says to Bose. "Okay, I got you. Bye, Miles," Bose hangs up before Miles can say anything else. Miles sighs. "How long do you think it's going to take?" Chapa asks, knowing Bose probably like 1-2 hours, if he forgets a month. Chapa slumps back onto the elevator walls and Miles slumps next to her, their backs against the wall.

Chapa then looks at Miles, observing how he fidgets with his cargo pants pocket, how he's biting his lip out of nervousness, and how he's gotten taller than her, now towering over her. If she has feelings, now she HAS feelings. "I can feel you staring at me, cupcake," Miles says, looking at Chapa with a smile, causing Chapa to snap out of her thoughts, looking down at her boots. "I-i wasn't looking," Chapa stutters. He doesn't say anything else but snaps into his own thought, now looking at Chapa. He thinks about how now Chapa's sister, Sage, is the same age as when all of them met. He looks at her hair that is now black due to her going back to her natural color. He reminisces about how she's still explosive but has calmed a little over the years. For Miles, with Chapa, he can be himself. With Mika, it's like he's fighting to make himself seen. With his parents, it's a game he never wins, especially for that time they didn't even realize Miles was not home; it made him feel unimportant. For Chapa, it's already known that Sage is the favorite child. Her parents don't even try to hide it; they make it known to her how disappointed they are, from the way she dresses to her mannerisms; they are always nagging her. That's why they always seek comfort in each other. "I never said you had to stop looking," Miles says. "Miles, can you stop!" Chapa says.

"Stop what?" Miles says, confused. "Stop making me confused, it's like my brain understands but my heart doesn't, and you're not really helping with what you're doing," Miles scrunches his nose in bewilderment. "I'm confused," Miles says. "Now you know how I'm feeling," Chapa says, hugging her knees to her chest. "No, I really don't," Miles says. "Whenever I'm with you, you make me angry, but it's not really anger; you make my heart beat fast, but not in an annoying way. Whenever I'm with you, it's like I'm running a marathon, and I hate not knowing why." Chapa rests her head on her legs while Miles scoots closer to her, crossing his legs. "Now you don't have to be confused alone," Miles says. "What are you talking about, Portie?" Chapa says. "You know... I'm also confused about us." Chapa's head snaps up. "Really?" she asks. "Yes," Miles says. "Well... what do we do?" Chapa asks. Miles says, standing, holding out his hand for her to take before she takes it, and he presses his lips onto hers.

Out of shock, Chapa doesn't kiss back at first, but then she does, taking in everything that's happening. She isn't confused anymore; she knows she likes Miles. Miles gradually breaks away, with Chapa following in pursuit. Miles is about to say something, but before he can, Chapa pulls him back by his hoodie and kisses him again. Miles then wraps his arm around her waist. He understood too; he likes Chapa. The duo pulls away from the kiss. "So how long were you so obsessed with me?" Chapa jokingly asked. "I should be asking you that question," Miles says. Chapa punches his arm after saying "shut up," laughing. Before Miles can say anything, the door slides open, making them go into defensive mode. Breaking apart, Miles goes in front of Chapa and Chapa gets her electricity ready. When they see it's just Bose and Mika, they chill. "How long were you guys in there?" Bose asks. "2 hours. Thanks for getting us out," Miles says. "And thanks for what? Why are you two holding hands?" Bose asks. The duo looks down at their hands, breaking apart immediately, with Chapa composing herself. "Nunya business," Chapa says, getting in the car. "But-" Bose starts. "Just listen to Chapa," Miles says. Miles pats Bose on the shoulder, with Bose shrugging and getting into the car. They didn't want anyone to know yet, not sure where their relationship is going to go.
