It was nearing night time, and everyone in the hotel was getting ready for bed. Charlie and Vaggie had cleaned Vaggies alphabet blocks and toys before heading to their room, Vaggie being carried by Charlie.
Charlie was tucking Vaggie into bed, watching the little one look around the room frantically. "You ok hun?" Charlie moved Vaggies hair out of her face. "Cwan ywou chweck under thwe bwed?.." Charlie smiled at her and nodded, getting up.
Charlie checked and saw nothing, giving a shaken Vaggie a thumbs up. "Nothing!" Charlie announced and got up from the floor. "Are ywou swure?.." Charlie nodded in reassurance, kissing her on the forhead goodnight.
Charlie turned the lights off, and got into bed with her. She turned over to take one more look to make sure Vaggie was ok, seeing she was slowly drifting off, soon to be fast asleep.

Charlie felt a hand trying to wake her up. Charlie got up knowing who the hand belonged to, checking the time. It was 3:00am, and Charlie was extremely tired. "Yes little one?.." She got up turning to her. "I cwan't slweep, I hweard a nwoise.." She confessed nervously, fiddling with her fingers.
Charlie sighed and smiled at her. "Cwan I dwo ywour hwair?.." Vaggie lowered her head feeling bad for waking the other. "Sure! Let me go get the hair stuff.." Charlie got up to go find hair accessories, ponytails, and a hairbrush.
Charlie came back with everything in a basket, handing it to Vaggie. Vaggie quickly undid Charlies ponytail, and started brushing her hair out excited.
Charlie sat still, waiting for her to get done. Vaggie didn't know how to do braids nor ponytails when in little space, so she tried her best.
Vaggie put one more bow into her hair, picking up a mirror in the basket. "Dwone!" Vaggie didn't know how to do hair, so Charlies head was just covered with all kinds of hair accessories, and bows everywhere.
Charlie couldn't help but giggle to herself, and looked up at the girl behind her. "It looks amazing, Vags.." She felt the little hug her from behind, Charlies smile remained.
"Why are you up so late?" She turned around fully to look at her. "I hweard a nwoise and gwot scwared.." Her head lowering again.
"Aw.. How about this.." Charlie was thinking, turning to the mirror removing the stuff put in her hair. "I give you cuddles to help you sleep." She offered.
Vaggies eyes lit up as she nodded. Charlie cleaned up everything, and set it next to the bed, not really wanting to get up right now.
She picked up Vaggie, and tucked the both of them into bed again. Vaggie cuddled up close to Charlie, arms wrapping around her. Charlie gave her a peck on the head and wished her a goodnight.
Vaggie looked up at her one more time. "Are ywou swure thweres nwothing hewre?" Charlie nodded, stroking her hair. "And if there is, I'll be here to protect you." She reassured. Vaggie slowly drifted to sleep, Charlie holding her close while humming a tune.
