Percy Jackson gracefully lowered himself before the throne.

This ain't your average throne – it's like a cosmic TV, showing off galaxies doing the cha-cha. Percy even thought he spotted the Milky Way, but it quickly made way for another star-studded dance. Trillions of stars twinkling in and out of existence. Feeling smaller than a sea snail, Percy wasn't sure if he was even worthy of looking at the throne, let alone the dazzling lady perched on it.

"Lady Chaos," Percy muttered in sheer awe. The lady looked normal, like your next-door mortal, but oh boy, the power and beauty were practically doing the Macarena around her. Sparkling eyes, a mysterious smile like she was hoarding the best gossip in the universe, hair as dark as a grape's soul, fading into the background. Her plain black dress made Aphrodite look like a fashion disaster.

"Perseus Jackson," Chaos chimed, "up you go."

Percy rose, eyes still locked on Chaos, the grand architect of the cosmos. "You know why you're here?" she asked.

Percy nodded, "Saved Olympus, now you're tossing me a wish as a thank-you card."

Chaos grinned, "Exactly! You've done the world a solid, so let's have a personal chat, a privilege Zeus never bagged."

The realization hit Percy like a lightning bolt. Gratitude should have him doing a happy dance, but instead, he felt like he just won an empty cereal box.

With all the monster-slaying and god-rescuing behind him, Percy found himself in a lull. Parents had their soap operas, friends had their relationship sagas, and Percy just wanted some peace. Sure, Camp had loads of pals, but the hero vibe had everyone treating him like a ticking time bomb after the Gaia gig.

And Annabeth...

Post-Giant War, they hit pause on the couple's marathon. No fireworks, just a "I'm not feeling it" from Annabeth. Percy's heart cracked, but he rolled with it, trying to move forward.

Honestly, Percy sometimes wished for Kronos to throw another party just to get some action. Not that he wanted chaos, but war had been his norm, and readjusting to mundane life felt like tightrope walking over an abyss.

"Thanks, Chaos," Percy muttered.

"Just Chaos works," she smirked. "You've earned the right."

"Call me Percy," he blurted, realizing he just dished a familiarity card. Chaos chuckled, a sound like the universe humming a happy tune.

"So, Percy, you've got a wish. No strings attached."

Percy arched an eyebrow. No restrictions? That's a plot twist. "Can't ask for more wishes, though," Chaos sighed.

Percy shot her a sly look. Honestly, he pondered the infinite wishes gambit, just to see if it'd stick.

"Thanks, Chaos, but I'm wish-less," Percy confessed. Chaos blinked, confusion coloring her cosmic gaze. Another blink.

"What?" she asked.

Percy shrugged, "I'm good as I am."

"You, my hero, can ask the creator of the Universe for one wish, and you're chilling with 'nope'?" she questioned, flabbergasted.

"Guess I'm just living my best empty life," he fibbed.

"Nuh-uh," Chaos countered, narrowing her eyes. "You're feeling the void, searching for life's GPS."

Percy gawked at Chaos, unable to conjure a comeback. She nailed it, but a wish for happiness sounded as mythical as a three-headed kitten. Well, almost.

"There is one wish," Percy hesitated.

Chaos raised an eyebrow, signaling him to spill the tea.

"I wasn't the solo hero. Many bit the dust, and I want them back," Percy spilled the beans, recounting names like a sorrowful mantra.

Chaos stiffened, and Percy felt it. "But, you know, the Fates have a 'no revival' policy," he added.

Apologies tumbled out, but Chaos hushed him. She snapped her fingers, swapping the throne for a cozy campfire and a log to chill on.

"You spilled the beans fast," Percy noted.

"No need for formalities. Let's get real," Chaos said, plopping onto the log, offering Percy a seat next to her.

"Why the sudden change?" Percy queried.

"Sometimes, real talks demand a campfire vibe," Chaos replied.

"I can't undo the death reel, Percy," Chaos admitted with a regretful glint in her eyes.

"But," she continued, "I can toss you a curveball."

"What kinda curveball?" Percy asked.

"Ice cream or tacos?" Chaos teased. Nah, just kidding. "You saved Olympus but left the extended family hangin'. What if I want you to hit the rewind button and spread the peace buffet to the entire godly clan, not just the Olympians?"

Percy's jaw hit the cosmic floor. "But, Chaos, Kronos and Gaia are on the 'Evil' RSVP list! Kronos RSVPed to obliterate Western civilization!"

Chaos sighed, "They weren't always the bad guys. Kronos had a soft spot for Hestia, and Gaia was the peace ambassador till Ouranos went cuckoo. Family drama, you know? They deserve a cosmic mulligan."

"But how can a mere Poseidon offspring pull that off?" Percy protested.

"If you time-travel back, I'll be your cosmic coach. We'll rewrite the script, save your buddies, and patch up the divine family drama," Chaos pitched, grinning at the prospect of a champion.

"But...," Percy began, cut off by an ominous thunder crack.

"Oh, the Fates got wind of this," Chaos said, a tinge of dread in her eyes. "Accept before they crash the party. Save your pals and become the ultimate hero and family therapist."

"How-" Percy started.

Another thunder crack roared.

"Just say yes, and we'll sort out the details later," Chaos pleaded.

"Fine, I'm in," Percy declared.

Suddenly, everything and nothing twisted. A cosmic whirlpool yanked at Percy's gut, and before he could fathom it, the void vanished.

He found himself in a chair.

Surveying the scene, Percy spotted Grover on another chair, glancing around.

A grin spread across Percy's face.

Back to where the demigod saga kicked off.
