We are here with Mystical Sagas 2024: The Uncanny Encounters.
For this May 11th - June 30th, we bring you this fun contest with prompts that you can twist into a short story, flash fiction or poetry as you like. We are excited for all the stories you will bring to the table!

Prompts
1. After many struggles, you managed to acquire the job you desired. Initially, what you wanted was a day shift, but you end up getting a night shift instead. It's your first day at this office and you notice that not only is the office strange but people working here are not normal too!
2. When you awaken, you realise you are in front of your dream that bothers you every night.
3. After your grandfather passes away, you and your mother decide to clean the attic and sort through his belongings. As you box up more things, you uncover a secret door that leads to a hidden room filled with magical artefacts.
4. You decide to go thrift store shopping and you come across a strange pair of shoes. You buy them, but the next day you wear them, you are transported to a different time period, filled with battle and adventure.

Rules and Guidelines
The deadline for submission is June 30th, 2024 at 23:59 Eastern Standard Time (EST).
💠 Your entry must be written in English.
💠 Only one entry per person is allowed and it must be specifically and newly written for this contest.
💠 Your entry can be submitted as a standalone or part of an existing collection. However, a direct link to the contest entry is required for eligibility.
💠 ️Co-writing isn't allowed for this particular contest.
💠 Wordcount: For a short story, your entry should be between 1500 - 5000 words.
For a flash fiction, your entry should be between 500 - 900 words.
For poetry, your entry should be between 100 - 300 words.
💠 Your entry must include one of the prompts from above, which you can choose for short story/flash fiction/poetry.
