*The next thing they knew was when they were in bed cuddling to each other*

*Lucifer was now cuddling with her and he felt the most amazing feeling. He couldn't feel the euphoric state anymore, all his nerves had become used to that amazing feeling and he was now getting used to the joy and happiness of being able to actually be with her. He was now cuddling with her and was about to fall asleep with his face buried into her shoulder. He felt her entire body pressed up against him and to be frank, it was a great feeling. He was finally able to rest for the first time in a long, long time.....*

*In the morning Y/n was the first one to wake up. She watched Lucifer for a while. His sleeping face was beautiful. Then all of their decisions hit her. Thinking about what are they going to do next*

*Lucifer slept in quite a peaceful and contented way. Everything that occurred the previous night was still fresh in his mind and the memories were still burning bright. Lucifer was now able to actually feel happy, not just in the heat of the moment. He felt as if he could finally be himself and he felt more in touch with his feelings than ever. He was finally beginning to wake up and as he slowly opened his eyes, he could look over at her looking at him. He felt a sense of anticipation in the air....*

"Oh did I wake you up?"

*Y/n asked looking at him*

*Lucifer's face looked up and his lips curved into a smile as he looked over at her. He was actually happy with this person looking at him right now. He loved this feeling of being here with this wonderful girl he was so drawn to.*

"You did.....but it is okay, I needed to wake up eventually. What are you thinking about?"

"Well..."

*Y/n said in a worried voice not knowing how to continue her sentence*

*Lucifer could sense that she was worried about something and he felt a sort of anticipation building up inside of him. What was bothering her? She did seem nervous about something but he didn't know what exactly. So he went ahead and asked again.*

"You can tell me, what's on your mind?"

"I don't know what are we going to do next. I wanna be with you Lucifer but I'm worried about Lilith."

*The fact that she was even bringing this up worried him in a different sense. He wanted to be with her to but he didn't want to hurt Lilith any more than he needed to. He wasn't sure how to answer in a way that would satisfy both of them now. So he replied with a somewhat soft reply.*

"I understand where you are coming from and I know you are very concerned about Lilith. But at the end of the day......she's not the one I wanna be with. I'm with you and I love you."

"But she is still your wife and I still have a wedding next Friday"

*Lucifer's heart sank again upon hearing that. It was true, Lilith was still his wife and she certainly would not appreciate this. She would probably not understand anything that had occurred and immediately see this as a betrayal. No matter what he did, no one would be winning in this situation except for her. And she did not deserve any of this. He did not want for this to become so messy....*

"What are we going to do?"

*Lucifer looked away as she asked this question. His mind was going in so many different directions right now. He wanted to be with her but he also wasn't okay with being the reason why a marriage potentially fell apart. There was no easy answer to this now...the damage had been done and it didn't seem like there was a way out of this anymore. He didn't answer right away and took an extended pause before answering. In the end, he only said one thing that could only be the truth.*

"I don't know..."

"Well we need to think of something because I don't wanna marry a person who isn't you"

*Lucifer's face lit up again when she said this. She was refusing to marry that guy....that was good. But was she genuinely not interested in that guy or was it just because she wanted to be with Lucifer? Lucifer's heart wanted to tell him the second option but he knew he could not jump to such conclusions. He knew he must find out more to this before he could say anything*

"Can I ask you a serious question?"

"Of course"

*Lucifer took a deep breath before he asked. This was a serious conversation and he needed to be ready for any answer.*

"You said you don't want to marry that guy...does that mean you aren't just doing it for the sake of Lilith? Do you actually dislike him?"

"I don't even know that guy. How can I even love him?"

*Lucifer breathed in relief as he heard her answer. It seems like she was actually not interested in him and was being pushed by Lilith to get married. But this also brought up another dilemma. There was still the issue of his own marriage and the fact that she was going to stay with him for the next five days, so he needed to confirm one last important question.*

"And you really want to be with me?...is that really how...you feel?"

"Yes I wanna be with you more than anything"

*Lucifer's heart fluttered the instant he heard this but he had to be sure about one last thing before he was completely ready.*

"If you want to be with me....then why are you still going through with the marriage with him? You just said that he was basically a stranger, the two of you do not know each other at all. You do not have to get married if you do not want to. Why are you still going through with it?"

"Lilith and… I think she knows about us…"

*Lucifer's face immediately froze when Y/n said that Lilith potentially knew about their encounter. This was not something he had expected and it made him feel quite a bit of panic.*

"Are.....you sure about that? Are you absolutely sure that she knows that we...did something?"

"I'm not that sure. But the way she looks at me tells me everything"

*Lucifer now began to worry more. If Lilith knew about this, she would definitely be angry and there would be no way she would let them just walk away from this.....Lucifer began to worry more and more now.*

"Wait a second.....how much do you think she knows? Is it possible that she just might suspect that something happened between us? Or do you think she knows the full details?"

"I think that she is just suspecting something happened between us. And I think that's why she wants me to get married"

*Lucifer breathed a huge sigh of relief when she said this. The fact that she only suspected something happened and did not know for sure was definitely a massive relief. This meant that they still had an opportunity to do something about this whole situation. As he continued to ask these questions, he got closer to her and sat up against the head board.*

"Then do you think there is anything you can do at all to stop the wedding?"

"I think she is waiting for my reaction. If I call off the wedding her suspension would be right. And if I get married to him that way she could keep me away from you"

*Lucifer now realized that this was a very tough predicament. If she were to call off the wedding, Lilith would most likely suspect that her suspicions were correct. But if she continued with the marriage, that would also give Lilith what she wanted and get Y/n away from Lucifer. No matter what route she took, it would not end well for them. No matter what Y/n did now, something bad was bound to happen. Lucifer didn't know what else to do at this point....*
