"We need to figure out something until Friday"

*Lucifer was now trying to think of any ways he could save themselves from this messy disaster. But he was drawing a blank on any solutions that would truly keep everyone happy. He loved Y/n, so much, he didn't want to lose her, to not be with her again. But to him, he didn't think there was a way out of this, everything about it screamed "lose lose." There was always going to be someone that was going to lose and right now, it seemed like that person was going to be him....*

"What about if you divorce Lilith and tell her that you don't love her anymore? Oh but then Charlie would be really sad…"

*Lucifer's heart almost stopped when he heard this. A divorce? That would work.....but like she said, even if he did divorce Lilith, he'd have a sad, heartbroken little girl who would have to go through so much pain.....could he really do that to her? Could he really make her sad like that? He wanted to be with Y/n more than anything but this was a huge consequence....this would be the greatest sacrifice he'd ever make and it would be on her behalf......was he truly ready for that?*

"But I think we should think about this more later. Now I have to go before Lilith sees me"

*Lucifer didn't want to let her go yet but he realized he just had to. She had to go before Lilith saw them together. He let her go and sat there for a long while. He needed to think but something else inside of him was telling him that he didn't want to sit around and think. He needed to do something. But what was there left to do? He had to do something....*

*The day passed faster than they thought. It was Thursday and they still didn't know how to stop this wedding*

*Lucifer was now starting to feel truly helpless and hopeless. He didn't know what else they could possibly do. Y/n's wedding was coming up and she would be getting married in just a few days. The thought of this made him sick. He loved this girl and seeing her get married to somebody else would definitely destroy him. And seeing this marriage as a result of his relationship with this girl made it so much more worse. He wanted to do something, anything to stop this from occurring but there was no idea to him that could work.*

*Then Lucifer got a call from Y/n*

*Lucifer picked up immediately. Hearing her voice now was everything he wanted to hear. It made his heart flutter and this was one of the few things that kept him going, just hearing her. She always made him feel so good and seeing her happy was all he wanted in this life of the world.*

"Hello?"

"Lucifer you need to do something quickly… I-"

*Lucifer's ears perked up as he heard the urgency in her voice. But he needed to know what was going on, he needed to not be left in the dark.*

"What is it? What's happening right now? Are you okay?"

"I don't wanna do this…"

*She said and started to cry*

*Lucifer felt extremely worried now. He couldn't just hear her cry over the phone, he needed to see her. He felt an overwhelming urge to be with her now. He needed to be physically with her.*

"I know Love did something happened?"

"Yes"

*Lucifer could sense that something bad had occurred. Something he did not want to hear but now he needed to hear. He needed to know what happened. So he asked one final question that he hoped that he would not have to ask.*

"Can I come over right now?"

"No"

*Lucifer felt his heart sink when she replied. He desperately needed to see her and her simply saying no was not what he wanted to hear. But he knew she must have had a reason for this. So he did not get back with an argument to this. Instead he simply asked why he could not come over.*
