"Why won't we just kill them?"A deep voice says.
"Because the girl can be good for us." Then there are a couple seconds of silence. "Not in that way you moron!" A slap followed by a groan.
I finally try and get the strength to open my eyes but immediately shut them from the headache caused by the bright lights. "She's awake Silas."
I hear footsteps come closer to me each second and I feel how my heart starts to beat faster, the familiar feeling of not being able to breath is slowly coming back as I pray to not get killed.
"Open those pretty eyes of yours princess, there's no point in pretending anymore."
That deep and rough voice that belongs to Silas makes me want to scream and hit his face for doing this to me.
I don't respond in any way and I can feel how he's getting more and more impatient with me every second. "I said open your eyes." This time he sounded a lot more demanding.
When I don't obey, he does something that makes my heart ache in pain. "Take the boy, let's teach the girl a little lesson." He took Caleb too?
"Don't you touch him!" I scream at the top of my lungs. Silas smirks as if my reaction is entertaining to him, like a kid watching a movie for the first time. "You will learn not to disobey my orders," he walks closer, his face close to mine. "I own you now." I almost spit at his face when he looks at my lips and I feel puke rising up my throat.
And with that he leaves me screaming as my brother is taken away from me. How can I be this stupid? Of course, they wouldn't let me go that easily, what was I thinking just going home?
Now my mistakes are the reason Caleb is in danger, alone with no one by his side telling him that everything will be okay.
"Let me out!" I've been screaming for God knows how long. Hitting the locked door like it would magically open. "I'll kill you if he gets hurt, let me out you psycho!"
My throat hurts like hell from all the crying and pointless screaming. I look around the filthy basement. Dry blood and dirt all around the floor. The walls are grey with a lot of holes in them. Bullet holes.
I'm so close to giving up. I'm so exhausted.
My attention goes to the wooden chair that Caleb was tied to. Weird how I wasn't, I was just laying on the dirty floor. Why? Do I look that weak?
Then I take another look around again.
There wasn't a single window, not even a small one. Though it's a basement used to torture innocent people, so I guess it's understandable.
I hear the door unlock out of a sudden and my head snaps back in that direction.
Silas is the first one to walk inside, behind him are two men with big guns in their hands.
