"Relax, your head was hit pretty badly," Aisha gently pushes me back down after I try to sit up.  "I got so worried when Nala called saying you were hurt."

"I'm okay."

"Obviously you're not considering that your head is wrapped and you're in bed rest."

Aisha sits down in the chair next to my bed. She looks upset which only makes me feel bad.

"What happened?"

"I guess I got too tired before I had the time to walk back."

"Why didn't you come get me?" She now looks even more upset, like she's blaming herself.

"You were busy, I didn't want to disturb you."

"I would stop whatever I'm doing if it meant you felt safe," She grabs my hand and gives it a tight squeeze. "You haven't slept in a while right?"

"I try to but after an hour, if even that, I wake up screaming, I just keep myself distracted by staying awake."

"Cam, it's going to be okay but from now on if you ever feel like you need me, you come get me."

I nod and look around. "Can you hand me my notebook?"

She smiles and does so. "Did you finish it?"

She looks excited.

"Mhm." I nod and open the notebook, showing herthe drawing I have tried to finish for days.

"I knew it would be pretty!"

I smile at her happiness and flip the page to a new blank one. She starts talking to me about something I don't quite catch as I start sketching her face.

Her big brown eyes and full lips, her big, gorgeous curly hair and perfect eyebrows. I draw on her little acne she has on her forehead. I start drawing it more detailed while she now changes the subject to her love for fries, not noticing how I take a small glance at her almost every second.

"And people who say that they don't like fries are just absolute monsters because.." She continues her reasoning on why everyone should love them.

I start shading the almost finished drawing. It's nowhere near perfect but it's the most I can possibly do in just 20 minutes.

"So what do you think, wait, what are you drawing?"

She looks at the drawing and smiles widely.

"Is that me?!"

I nod slowly as she traps me into one ofher tight hugs.

"I love it!"

I giggle at her when she let's me go.

"I'm hungry. Are you hungry? We should get fries!"

She runs out of the room to get her new obsession and I stay laying down.
