After my date last night with Brad I came home and called Jennifer and told her all about it. Brad made me feel so safe and beautiful. I don't know how he did it. After Jennifer and I gushed over him I fell asleep.
I woke up and looked at the time it read 6:45 and got out of bed. I had to get ready for school today and I am not looking forward to it at all.
I got up and just stared at my closet. I had no idea what to wear. A few minutes later I just decided on black skinny jeans, a turquoise v neck, and my white converse. I decided to add a long necklace that had a guitar pick on it and some of my favorite rings.
I heard my phone go off and I quickly finished brushing my teeth. I looked at the name it said Brad.
Brad- Goodmorning beautiful! I'll be by your house in 20 to take you to school;)
Me- Goodmorning! Okay I'll see you then!:)
Suddenly my opinion on school today changed by just one simple action.
As I got done eating breakfast I went back to my room. I watched from the window for Brad. About 7 minutes later he drives up and waits for me. I climb out my window and walk over to his car smiling. He truly does make me happy.
"I don't think I'll ever get used to you climbing out of your window." Brad said with a huge grin on his face.
"I don't think I ever will either." I said giggling.
"You look stunning today!" He said as he rested his hand on my knee. Butterflies erupted in my stomach.
"Thank you! Oh and by the way I wanted to tell you I had a really fun time last night! That movie was amazing!" I said as I sat my hand on top of his.
"I had a great time too! We should do that again some day." He said with a smirk on his face.
"Sounds like a plan!" I replied happily.
••••When we finally arrived at school Brad walked me to my locker and first hour and he even held my hand the whole way. I couldn't even focus first period because of the butterflies in my stomach.
"Hayley, are you even listening?" I heard someone say. I broke my thoughts and looked to my right and saw Jennifer staring at me. She had notes on her desk and a pink pen.
"No I'm too busy thinking about Brad." I said smiling uncontrollably.
"Wow you really like him don't you?" Jennifer asked. I paused a moment before answering.
"Yeah, I think I really do." I replied confidently.
"I'm happy for you and you need to spill the dets.(details) at lunch." She said moving her eyebrows up and down. I giggled at her.
Soon enough it was time for lunch and I sat down at our usual table and told Jennifer about the car ride this morning. I already told her about the date the night before.
I felt my phone vibrate and looked down at my lap. It said I had a message from Brad.
Brad- Hey gorgeous, can I sit at your table today?;)Me- Of course! We are by the tiger banner at the left of the cafeteria:)
Brad- Ok I'll be there in a few!
"Omg Jennifer, Brad's coming over to sit with us!!" I exclaim grinning.
"Yay, I finally get to meet this Brad." She said smirking. She so protective of me.
A few minutes later Brad showed up with one other guy. He sat down beside me and his friend filled up the other empty seat beside Jennifer.
"Hey beautiful!" Brad said as he grabbed my hand under the table.
"What's up cutie?" I said with a huge smile on my face. I was trying so hard not to blush but failed terribly.
"Nothing much but I have a question to ask you." Brian said with a smirk.
"Ok shoot." I replied nervously.
"I was wondering if you wanted to go to my baseball game and cheer me on?" Brad asked squeezing my hand.
I could tell he was nervous and it was so cute."That's sounds so fun!" I exclaimed.
"Great! I'll pick you up at five." He said as he scooted closer.
"So how was your day?" He asked. He stared into my eyes like he genuinely cared.
"Actually my day has been really good!" I said smiling. He was rubbing circles on my hand with his thumb. I felt safe around him.
"That's great!" He said excitedly. I giggled and looked over at Jennifer and his friend. They were really hitting it off.
I lightly nudged Brad and smirked over at them. He looked up and giggled like a little kid. He was something special. I couldn't wait to see what the future held for us.
