If you told Y/N this morning that she would end up sitting in a police car with total stranger after a possible alien attack, she would've not believed you. I mean who would?
Ryan told everyone on the train that he saw something strange in the forest when he went to fetch his bike. So the group were now on their way to find out if this strange thing has something to do with the tentacle creature.
Yasmin, or Yaz as everyone called her, was driving her police car. The blonde woman, who apparently didn't know her own name ( possibly because of her fall ) sat next to her as the rest of the group sat crammed in the back. While they were driving down the dark road, Yaz made sure to let everyone know she didn't like doing this. Getting even more irritated when the woman asked her if the sirens or lights could be put on. When Yaz told her a harsh no, the woman decided to change the topic as she didn't want to irritate Yaz any more than she already was.
''I didn't catch your name!'' she asked, turning around facing Y/N. The group also turned their eyes on her, also not knowing her name.
''Oh, its Y/N'' she said with a small smile.
The woman's eyes slightly widened at that. ''Y/N..? I knew a Y/N a long time ago.'' She said, sadness lacing her voice. Y/N looked at her with sympathy. ''Really? Where is she now?'' she asked, not really sure if the woman would answer her.
''I don't know, she disappeared.'' She said, cutting it short. ''But let not talk about that! So you three know each other?'' She moved her gaze from Y/N to Graham, Grace and Ryan. Y/N couldn't help but wonder about this other Y/N the woman knew.
''I'm his nan.'' Grace said looking at Ryan. ''And Graham's me husband, second husband.''
''And you two know each other?'' The woman then said, pointing at Yaz and Ryan.
''Yeah, Yaz and I were at school together.'' Ryan answered. The woman nodded. ''and you Y/N?''
Y/N looked at her and moved her head saying no. ''No, they're all strangers to me.'' She chuckled. The woman smiled. ''Ah! So I'm not alone then.'' She said grinning. At the same time Grace and Yaz had a small interaction, both only now knowing who they were.

The group just came back from their little hike in the forest. It wasn't a success as the thing Ryan had seen wasn't there anymore. They decided to split up and ask around, seeing if anyone else has seen anything out of the ordinary. Yaz drove off, on her way to question some of her coworkers. Graham decided to go question his old coworkers from when he was a bus driver, knowing for sure they must've heard or seen anything. Ryan and Y/N made a plan to search social media.
Suddenly the woman bent forward, looking like she could pass out any second. Y/N grabbed her arm, worry growing strong inside her. ''Suddenly I feel really tired'' The woman muttered. She looked up and tried to focus as a ringing filled her ears.
''That was a big fall you had, love'' Grace said, also looking worried at her.
''We should get you checked out at A&E.'' Y/N joined in, Grace agreeing with her.
''No, no, I never go anywhere that's just initials.'' The woman immediately said. Her body still slightly bending forward, hands on her knees as she started breathing a little heavier. Y/N tightly holding her close to her, scared she might pass out.
Then out of nowhere the woman put her finger in her nose, getting lose from Y/N's grip. Ryan looked disgusted at this, while Grace and Y/N looked more confused.
''Although...'' She Looked at the group, her other finger pointed at the sky as if she remembered something important. ''Ah. Can one of you catch me?''
Ryan, Grace and Y/N shared a look, Ryan then asking her if she was about to fall over.
''In 2 minutes, 19 seconds. Wait-'' the woman said while Y/N got closer again ready to catch her.
''Forget the 2 minutes. 19... Oh! This new nose is so unreliable!'' she yelped out before falling down. Y/N caught her before she could hit the ground. She looked at the woman who was now unconscious, the same worry still filling her body. She couldn't quite understand why this feeling was so strong. Her whole body told her she wanted this woman to be safe and healthy, why? She barely knew her. She never felt anything like this for a complete stranger.
''Y/N love, lets carry her to my place. Its not far from here.'' Grace said. Y/N nodded and then picked her up, carrying the blonde woman in her arms as the three of them walked to the house. Watching the woman in her arms, Y/N couldn't help but feel a slight feeling of happiness being so close to her. She shrugged it of though, feeling a bit weird.
When they entered the house Y/N carefully put the woman down on the soft couch. She looked at her pale face, seeing her eyebrows scrunched up a bit. 'She didn't look peaceful' thought Y/N. She then softly put some of her blond hair out of her face and behind her ear, and stood up. Joining Ryan at the table.
Ryan had grabbed his iPad and started scrolling through twitter. Y/N did the same and checked Instagram on her phone, meanwhile Grace made sure everyone was comfortable. She went to grab a blanket for the woman, and as she got back in the room she noticed something strange.
''Ryan, Y/N. Look!'' she whisper yelled. They both turned around, eyes widened at the sight.
The now familiar feeling of drumming filling Y/N's head again for a second.A yellow glow filled the woman's body, as it moved like water through her. It was kind of beautiful, like a pretty sunset. The woman however still had her eyebrows scrunched up and it looked like she was in pain. They all walked closer to her, examining the glow. Grace then softly grabbed the woman's hand, checking her pulse. She looked at Ryan and Y/N with a shocked look before saying she felt two separate pulses.
''What?'' Y/N whispered, confused at how she could have two separate pulses. At that same moment the yellow glow reached the woman's face, a small blob of light leaving her mouth. Everyone stood there shocked and mesmerized.
''Oh, my god. What is that?'' Ryan said, Grace answering with a ''I have no idea.'' The three of them watching the blob as it flew away.

After Graham and Yaz joined everyone at Grace her house, the woman had abruptly woken up. Muttering something about not being healed completely and then noticing a feeling in her collarbone. She had walked over to the others, asking them if she could see their collarbones as well. Surprisingly everyone had a small light in their collarbones, the woman immediately having a worried look on her face. Telling everyone that the lights were small DNA bombs. The group obviously got slightly scared, afraid of when they would go off. The woman couldn't help them yet, saying something about her brain still rebooting. This made her realize there was a way of tracking the signals from the DNA bombs to its origin, which hopefully would lead to a way for her to defuse them.
The group was now standing in a dark alley. It was quiet with no other people around besides them. ''We're close.'' The woman said, looking at Ryan's phone. Suddenly an explosion went off, scaring everyone. A humanoid figure emerging from the smoke.
''Bingo, Oi!'' the woman suddenly screamed. Graham looking at her like she was crazy.
''Should we be getting its attention!?'' Y/N whisper yelled at her, scared of what could happen.
The woman ignored her. ''Don't you move!'' She yelled.
The figure who had stopped at the sound of the woman screaming, decided to run away. Instead of being smart and staying as far as possible the woman started running towards it. Ryan and Grace following her immediately.''Why is she running at another alien!'' Graham yelped out, Y/N sharing a look with him. Yaz then yelled for them to stop standing there and followed the rest. Y/N and Graham hesitantly followed them too. ''Now you're all running at it!'' Graham muttered.
The running didn't take long though as they soon lost it. The figure being too fast for them. Instead Ryan found an entrance from where the figure came from and everyone went inside an old looking warehouse.
