"Yes, yes I am! And you're Mr. Law, our temporary bodyguard if I'm not mistaken?"

Laura smiled sweetly. Flynn matched her energy.

"Yes, forgive me for bumping into you. I should definitely be more careful."

Flynn bent down and picked up the papers and books. He stood up and bowed, "I hope I haven't upset you, princess."

Laura was speechless; unsure what to say. She took the stuff as a blush formed on her face.

Flynn looked at her as he thought, "Her heart rate has increased. Not to mention, her breathing is inconsistent, and her face is red."

Thoughts set in his mind, "Well, that didn't take much. I still can't believe I haven't been arrested for my deadly charms." He thought arrogantly.

Laura smiled with her perfect teeth as she spoke, "I was so excited when I heard the famous escape artist was our bodyguard. Our father has said great things about you."

Flynn chuckled; he voice slightly deep and charming, "What an honor. I was so excited when I found out I get to guard the future queen," he kissed her hand gently as he pulled it to his chest, "Truthfully, I'm the honored one, your Majesty."

Laura's heart rate went up. She stumbled on her words and kept smiling at Flynn.

"Seriously, you're too kind! I was just on my way to study my books on the history of Macbeth. Care to join me?"

Her eyes sparkled with hope he would agree.

He was a little confused she immediately fell for him. Then, it made sense. She was next in line for the throne. If she is acting like this, then she doesn't have a king.

He smiled sweetly, "Forgive me, Your Highness, but I must meet your sisters. Do you perhaps know where they are?"

"Oh!" She turned and looked down the corridor, "Frida should be in her bedroom. Sofia will be in the royal gardens."

"Thank you," he bowed before he made an exit, "I would love to study with you sometime, Princess."

As he turned around a corner, she squealed with joy; running the other direction.

Flynn came around the corner to see Chris holding a plate with roasted chicken, potatoes, and honey-glazed vegetables.

"Oooh! Chrissy, thank you!" Flynn took the plate and started eating.

"Really? You've been here for an hour, and you're already flirting with Laura?"

Flynn chuckled, "Empty Charm is only to get what I want. You have to be born with that gift, Chrissy."

"Christopher!"

"Can you say that again? I can't seem to remember it."

"Ughhhh!" Christopher looked at Flynn's smug expression, "Well, just so you know, the next princess: Frida is a tough nut to crack. It will take more than 'empty charm'."

Flynn handed the plate to Christopher, "Trust me. I'm very good at what I do," he started walking, "And so are you!"

"Huh?"

"That food was good! You should consider culinary school!"

Chris looked at Flynn, flustered from the compliment.

Flynn started walking to his next princess. The one with no information, but a secret scandal.

Finally, he reached the doors that had the gold plate, 'Frida' on it. This must be her room.
