Gabrielle Morgan
It's been six months.
Six months of us dating, six months since we started our senior year, and six months since, well, Enzo moved in with me.
We've been cooped up against each other since we got together. I'm not talking about before, I'm talking about how we're always in each other's skin now.
When one of us has to go to bathroom, the other stands beside them or sits on the sink.
It's morning now, and we're in the shower. I'm standing on my tip toes trying to wash his hair.
Key word: trying.
This man is too tall me to reach his hair fully.
"Bend down babe." I speak to him as I put the shampoo on my hands a second time. He laughs at me before doing so as I lather it on his head.
The feel of his breath on my neck as my shivering.
I wash the shampoo out before looking up at him through my lashes. He smiles before I hit him on his shoulder and turn the water off.
I grab a towel before wrapping it around myself as I go over to the sink and washing my face along with brushing my teeth.
I walk out after I'm done and go to my closet. I dry off before grabbing some lotion and moisturizing my body.
I grab a black bra set and put it on before grabbing a new pair of sweats followed along with the cropped sweatshirt I got yesterday.
I pair my new balances with it before spraying some perfume on myself.
The feel of arms going around my waist has me smiling and leaning back onto their front. "You smell good." He sniffs me before chessing. "Like really good."
A kiss on the shoulder.
A kiss on the neck.
Then a kiss on the lips.
I grab my phone before snapping a photo of us in the mirror and putting it as my lock-screen, changing the previous one I had of us.
"Alright let's go before we're late." He speaks out before grabbing my hand and dragging me down the stares and out the house.

"Ayla leave me alone." I laugh out as we sit at lunch. I shove her away from me before rolling my eyes and scoffing as she keeps making the kissing face.
"Enzo and Gabby, sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G-" she gets cut off as Ethan comes waltzing to the table and pushing his tray down before sitting down with a frown.
I look over at him then Ayla, who is sporting the same frown on her face.
I tsk before turning in my seat and looking between the two. They've been sulking since the day Enzo asked me out officially.
"Alright what the hell is wrong with you too? I'm tired of both of y'all sulking everytime ya'll get near each other. What happened six months ago?"
They both side eye each other before sighing equally and spilling everything out one on one.
Apparently those two weeks before this six months passed, they were hanging out and apparently shared a kiss here and there.
He kissed her first then the second time she kissed him.
They've been halfway dodging each other since and now it's like they're avoiding what happened and not speaking about it.
"Okay this is what I want you guys to do. After school go to the local ice cream shop, hang out, talk about anything that's been on y'all mind. I don't want to see neither one of you until y'all do that. Got it?" I speak lowly so onlookers won't be so nosy in this cafeteria.
"Okay mom number two." Ayla speaks making me smile before jumping slightly as I feel a pair of hands wrap my shoulders.
The bell rings above us making us groan out but nevertheless we still get up and head to the doors.
•••
Dropping my bag on the floor, I change into some black sweats and a black tee (Enzo's black tee) before falling onto my bed.
I grab my phone before going into instagram as I wait for Enzo to come back from getting us Chinese food.
I was craving it all day during school and now would you look at that, I'm getting it.
I scroll through my feed some more before the sound of the door shutting down stairs has me jumping up and out of my bed.
I run down the stairs, eager to get my food and see Enzo but I come short when I don't see Enzo standing in front of me.
But rather someone I haven't seen in years.
Someone that left when things got hard.
Someone that left me alone, a child all alone.
"...hey kiddo."
A lady with brown curly hair.
A lady with the same eye color as me, if not darker.
The lady...the lady that had me at the age of seventeen.
My mother is back ladies and gentlemen.
•••
"Baby." The sound of Lorenzo's voice travels through the house. I look away from my mother who's seated across from me at the kitchen table.
"Baby?" Her eyebrows peak up and a grin makes its way to her face.
"I don't know what you grinning at?" I say before walking out and to him. My arms wrap around his waist as his do my shoulders.
He kisses my forehead before we pull apart. One look at me has that smile that I love so much disappear from his face.
"What's wrong?" I nod my head over to the kitchen, he looks to it before looking back at me.
He walks to it before glancing inside then back to me quickly. "Who's the lady?" He whispers out, standing beside me now.
"The one who birthed me." I nod nonchalantly as I dig in the bag of food and take my sesame chicken out.
I turn back to him to watch as he scratches the side of his head nervously. "Should I leave for a little bit then come back or..."
I shake my head no and set my food down, walk over to him and grab him by the front door of his shirt.
"Mm no. You stay but I am going to make her leave though because she popped up out of nowhere like them clowns be doing. Ion like dat'."
He laughs before kissing my lips and telling me alright and that he'll be in our room.
Our room.
Ooh.
