I'm in the truck with Billy as he pulls up to my house. I can hear music blaring from the garage as I smile towards it. Billy parks the truck not far from the building and I start to grab my things. Making sure I grab my bag that carries my cheer uniform. Coach gave the varsity cheerleaders their uniform after school during practice as we discussed the positions that were open this year.
"So, does this mean we are back together?" I hear Billy say as I open the door and let myself out. I turn to him as my ponytail swings behind me. I can tell how badly he wants me to say yes and take him back. To go back to the way things used to be.
"Billy, how many times do I have to tell you." I close the door and lean an arm on the window opening of the door. "My car is in the shop so these rides are just cuz I need them. We both know we are over. After what you put my friends through—" I turn as I hear my brother take over the singing and smile in that direction.
"I told you that I was sorry. I apologized and everything. We don't even mess with the frea—" I spin my head around and Billy catches himself. "Theo. We don't mess with Theo anymore." He scoots closer to my side, "Baby—-"
"No Billy, I told you. Just rides home." I back away and make my to the garage. The music getting louder and my smile getting bigger. I open the door and bounce my head to the music.
Theo on the drums, Roz on the keyboard, and Harvey playing guitar. They all see me and smile as I set my bag down and watch them finish their song.
Only a beat later the door opens as Sabrina barges in causing the music to come to a halt. "Guys!" She yells and we all look to her. "You guys I figured it out. It's time for Operation Handbasket."
"Hang on, you mean—" Roz starts as I start to catch on to what Sabrina means.
"We're going to hell?" I breathe out and Sabrina smiles at me. Knowing how fascinated I have been with all her witchy background.
"Like, Hell Hell?" Theo asks and I couldn't stop from smiling even wider.
"Yep, I found a back door," Sabrina says to us
"I gotta ask the question, are humans even allowed in Hell?" Harvey asks all of us. I roll my eyes at him murmuring about how I got stuck with a wimpy brother.
"Well, technically, no, but there are ways around that. Things we can do to prepare. If you're still willing to help." Sabrina responds as she looks to all of us.
"Let's rock and roll." Theo smiles as he plays the drums with the response.
"Let's go to hell witches!!" I scream as I jump up and down.
