7| confessions and broken hearts

After Celeste and Ben's semi awkward encounter, they were both feeling down. Celeste was upset that Audrey interrupted them and after what her mothers voice had said, she just wasn't herself for the rest of the day.

Ben was mad that Audrey cut his conversation with Celeste short, he was upset with himself for leaving as soon as Audrey said. To be honest Ben really wasn't happy in his relationship with Audrey. He needed to get out of it, but he just didn't have the heart to break up with the girl he had known for most of his life.

Celeste was with Mal and Evie at the lockers, chatting away as Mal put her things away.

"Do you think I should wear my hair up or down when we get back to the isle?" Evie asked her two friends.

Mal simply rolled her eyes hoping Evie didn't notice.

"I think you'll look great either way E" Celeste told her honestly.

Evie smiled before checking the time, she said goodbye to her friends before heading towards her next class.

Celeste looked over when she heard a fake high pitched laugh, groaning quietly when she saw Audrey, Celeste really hated that girl.

Her angry expression faded slightly when she saw Ben following behind her. Chad was also with them but Celeste didn't really care about him.

Mal looked over to the girl wondering what she was looking at. She turned her head and saw Audrey nodding towards them, most likely talking shit.

Celeste rolled her eyes halting at Audrey. She really wanted to rip the girls hair out but she stopped herself.

"I think you're wrong about them" Ben told his girlfriend.

Celeste smiled slightly at that.

She didn't realise Ben had walked up to them until she saw Mal slightly jump when she closed her locker.

"Hey" Ben greeted.

"Hey" Mal greeted him back.

Celeste gave him a simple smile before looking out at the field.

"How was your first day?" he asked.

"Super" Mal replied sarcastically.

Celeste tuned them out not wanting to listen in to whatever they were talking about.

Her attention turned to Jane who ran past them quickly, letting out a little squeal. She smirked at how scared the girl was.

Mal had walked past Celeste most likely following Jane. Celeste was about to follow her but stopped when Ben grabbed her wrist.

"Can we talk?" He asked her.

Celeste looked a little shocked that he wanted to talk but agreed anyway.

Ben let go of her wrist and grabbed her hand leaving Celeste shocked.

He's dating Audrey.

This doesn't mean anything.

He's just holding your hand Celeste, don't make a big deal about it.

Ben led her away from the lockers and towards the gardens. A bright smile on his face.

"You didn't need to bring me out here if you only wanted to talk" Celeste chuckled.

"I like it here, it's quiet and peaceful" Ben told her.
