POV: flora

It's now fucking 3 am and I'm so tired I got back from a mission Im so exhausted but who cares I walked upstairs back to my room and changed into comfy clothes a T-shirt and a sweatpant I did my skincare and went to sleep

I woke in the morning feeling the sun in my eyes which is fucking annoying I closed the curtain and got back in bed I heard someone calling me I opened my eyes and saw a fucking rat

'"Damm I didn't know you escaped from the zoo," I said sarcastically" acting shocked and scared

"You so funny" he side-eyes me

"Get up," he said and I rolled my eyes and got back to sleep

"Get up you have a guest," he demanded

"No get out of sleeping," I said and put the blanket over me

Not even a second I was picked up on his shoulder I tried to hit his leg but the bitch is tall as fuck I smirked and pinched his ass and I fell on the floor while he yelled at me

"Wtf is your problem," I said and he mumbled something

"Your mom is here," he said and walked away angry i laughed and went downstairs and hugged my mum

"Hey mama," I said

"Hello Hermosa" she said and kissed my cheek and hugged me

"How is everything with Damon?" she asked

"Mama you know the answer," I said

"Are you sure nothing happened between you two?" she said

"Mama I can assure you nothing and will never happen," I said

"OK I know it is not my place to say this but try to talk with him a bit the day maybe there was a misunderstanding," she said and I felt anger in my veins

"Mama it's not as easy as you think it is," I said respecting my Mama

"Ok mi amor I gotta go back," she said

"Drive safely mama" is said and hugged and kissed her

She nodded and left i turned around and walked to the kitchen I made myself some tea and went to the living room where Jaiden and Emery were

"Hey bitches" I said jumping on the couch next to Emery

"How was your convo with your Mama," she asked

"It was ok," I said and she gave me the 'we will talk about it later' look and I nodded

"Wtf was that," Jaiden said with a confused face

"Nothing," she said

"No I saw it," he said we rolled our eyes ignoring him

"So how are you guys" I asked

"Were cool right ?" Emery asked and Jaiden nodded lying on her lap i nodded and heard some barks i turned to look at it and saw two huge dogs

"Flora calm down and don't run," she said and I didn't even listen to her and ran away I know must not run from a dog but it's life or death now I yelled and kept running fuck does bitches fast

I bumped into someone and jumped on them locking my legs around their torso i felt a hand around my waist I closed my eyes when kept hearing the dogs barking

I opened my eyes and saw the dogs under me i hugged the person closer and and looked to see who it was and saw Damon smirking i was about to get down but the dogs tried to jump and I hugged him close

"Get off me," he said and I shook my head

"Fuck I'm not gonna die from does ugly ass dogs," I said

"First of all they are not ugly and second of all get off me," he said again

I kept hearing the dogs barking and memories came to my mind i leaned into his ear and whispered

"Pls take them away" I whispered
He sighed and nodded felt him taking me he carried me to my room and left emery rushed into the room locking the door when she did it I started to breathe heavily

"Flora flora look at me breathe," she said and I nodded and tried to breathe but couldn't i tried again, and I finally did she smiled and hugged me

"Thanks," I said and she nodded

"You can leave now," I said softly she nodded and left

It is always like that when I get a panic attack emery helps me and leaves since I don't want her to see me cry I go to my bed and break down crying quietly with a hand on my mouth

I didn't cry for years and I know it's bad but I just can and fuck it's complicated

After a couple of minutes I washed my face and looked at myself in the mirror I smiled and went to sleep

POV: Damon Hendrix

I was talking with Jaiden about what happened with the dogs I didn't know she was scared of the dogs

"No dogs at the house from now on," I said to everyone all the guards nodded and I went back to my office on the way I saw Emery coming out of the flora room crying I didn't know why but got in my office and sat on my chair

I won't lie I was shocked when she jumped on me I didn't know why at first but when I looked down I realized it was because of the dogs her whispering made me shiver in my body

It was weird that she was scared of dogs I remember her liking them but I guess something happened that made her scared of dogs and my nosy ass wants to know why

After a couple of hours of working, I finally finished all the documents it was now 2 am in the middle of the night and
I got up and went upstairs i got closer to the room and hesitated if should i go or not i got inside her room and saw her sleeping peacefully i felt a life and closed the door and walked toward my room

I got in my room and changed into some sweatpants I took off my shirt and went to bed I tried to sleep I closed my eyes and waited and waited and waited it was fucking 5 am but i hate my insomnia
