'Look at this'. The team all crowds around the back of the bus as Teegen puts her phone on the table. 'Another one!' Some of the girls look concerned others look uninterested. 'Do they know who it is?' I ask Teegen shakes her head. Jamie our captain tosses in, 'I bet it's some man, all murders seemed to be by them'. I laugh a little 'that's a little sexist isn't it capt?' She lightly pushes me, 'I'm not the one who makes up statistics, am I?'

'Its just terrible' says Teegen, 'I mean happening in London I get there's bad parts but right around here? Where we are? I don't know it doesn't make me too..' her voice trails off as one of the girls bursts out laughing and passing her phone around. 'Look! Look!' says Marie 'look at the top comment on Jamie's last post!' 'Oohs and ahhs' fill the bus. 'It's her again!' we all mock. 'its her!' Jamie laughs blushing a little, 'stop it you all, we're just friends.' This only got more laughs from everyone.

The bus pulls into Leigh Sports Village stadium for our second back to back game against United. We walk out to the pitch to sing the national anthem. I sing holding myself proudly as the camera passes me, I love this moment, the whole stadium singing in unison. My teammates' arms are around each other's shoulders. We soon break and take up our positions on the pitch.

'April!' Teegen calls to me, I look back and grab a glance of the tall blonde a few meters to my right. I stop and duck in front of an attacker. Teegen passes me the ball and she runs forward into the box. I pass the ball back to her just missing the extended leg of one of the defenders. Teegen runs on and does what she loves to do. The crowd becomes electric again. 'You bloody beauty' I say as she jumps into my open arms for a hug. Jamie comes over, 'that top corner is yours!' She yells excitedly. We break the little hug and some of the other girls come over. High fives for all, as we make our way back to our side of the pitch.

'April, Teegen we have a few questions thanks for being here'. We both nod as the storm of reporters all look eagerly at us from the other side of the press room. 'April, you had another assist today with Teegen that makes 11 this season in 14 games. What do you say to this achievement?'

I pause a little as I look to the blonde next to me her dimples deepening as we smile at each other. 'I don't know I say, I think growing up through the academy together we are used to playing next to one another.'

'Teegen!' Says another reporter, 'this record you are setting in scoring 11 goals in 14 games is the first for London city in club history, how are you doing this?' I watch Teegen look my way as I keep my eyes forward looking through the clear bottle on the table. 'I think it's just a bit of luck and the result of a lot of training with this one'. She says gently nudging my side with her elbow. This gains a few laughs from the room including a little chuckle from myself.

Teegen and I walk back to the locker room where most of the team have changed into their travel clothes. Me and Teegen change out of our kits and start packing our bags, Teegen leans in a little lowering her voice just a tad, 'I think It may be a little more than luck Aps'.

'Huh? what is?' I say Teegen looks at me amused 'The fact you remember to walk and talk' she teases in her normal voice. I shake my head a little and look her way while I pack the last of my things, 'you know its lucky they haven't worked out to how to stop us, they must be studying us' I say gesturing widely with my hands like I was showing a picture. Laughing we both pick up our bags and leave the locker rooms.
