“Y-yong.. Should we be doing this?”Moon Byul glanced up at Yongsun unbuckling her belt. The vampire sat on her lap, facing her with a glint of menace in her eyes.
Layers of blue filled Yongsun's irises. Tinges of crimson appeared when the sight of Moon Byul's blood circulating throughout her body welcomed her. Her fangs grew sharp as her gaze lingered on the spot where most of Byul's blood was.
Moon Byul gulped. “Please get off, Yong..”
Under different circumstances, she would have said the opposite. But the situation at hand did not call for it. She looked past Yongsun, towards the closed door to her office.
Raising her hand, Yongsun pressed her index finger against Moon Byul's lips. “Be a good fox. Behave.”
Moon Byul closed her mouth and gave Yongsun a knowing glance instead. 'Please, Yong', she pleaded, her fox eyes a burning crucible of gold, 'I didn't lock the door..'
Yongsun scoffed. Catching a glimpse of the door behind made her roll her eyes. No one will be walking through that door. She turned to the gumiho and continued undoing Moon Byul's belt.
A low grunt escaped from Moon Byul's throat. In all her uncertainty of Yongsun's intention of straddling her lap, she knew a few things. One such thing was the sequence of events that led to this moment...
“I'm thirsty.”
Moon Byul eyed her girlfriend and raised her brows. “Do you want 'blood' or blood blood?”
“Yours,” Yongsun answered.
The response earned a chuckle from Moon Byul. Her lips curved into a smile. Then, it disappeared when she realized. “You're serious?”
Yongsun nodded her head. Her eyes entailed all but jokes. The morning air turned sincere as she strode forward, approaching Moon Byul. She grabbed the curtains and covered the windows.
Ashes and flames consumed parts of Yongsun's skin that the sunlight had touched.
Moon Byul rushed to Yongsun with a frown. “Don't do that, Gansan.” She closed the curtains, shielding Yongsun as she did. She took Yongsun's hand and brought it up.
A kiss from the gumiho sufficed as a remedy for the burn. Her lips pressed against the back of Yongsun's hand eased the pain and quickened its healing.
“Can you wait for a bit? I still have a meeting with the humans..” Moon Byul's voice softened like her eyes as she asked Yongsun. Her watch read 8:35, only minutes before an important discussion.
Yongsun shook her head. A glint of steel flashed in her eyes.
Moon Byul gulped as Yongsun stepped forth to her. “When did you last drink?”
“Last week,” Yongsun replied, not wishing to say any more.
Moon Byul took Yongsun's hand and talked. “Gansan, I'll give you as much blood as you want later, okay? I just have to attend this meeting. It's an important one.”
Yongsun pulled Moon Byul by her tie. She had no difficulty in standing taller than her, as she stood with pride and a smirk. “What seems to be the matter now? Moon Byul-yi wanting to please humans?”
Moon Byul looked away. Yongsun knew how to taunt her. But it was up to her to let Yongsun provoke her. “Yongsun, no.”
“Yongsun, yes.” A grin carved into Yongsun's mouth. Blue hues shone amidst the dimmed office as she moved closer. Tingles spread across Moon Byul's body, giving her goosebumps.
