Maami was taking Bondita and Aashritha's Handprints on a white cotton cloth when Sumati came and snatched both the sisters away.
"Nahi meri betiyaan chita pe nhi baithengi! suna nahi, nahi baithenge" screamed Sumati "Jaane dijiye meri bacchi ko jaane dijiye"
"Dharm ke naam par archan daalti ho" said a lady
"Do hasti khelti bachiyon ko devi maan lena sahi hai? Reet ke naam pe do chotti bacchi ko maar dena dharm hai? Agar ye dharm hai to meri aapse haath jodkar vinti hai ki naa maaniye is dharm ko, Apshagun hi sahi kamse kam maa ki chaati se to lagi rahengi, Jaane dijiye inhe" Sumati begged
Sumati started taking away her daughters but the women opposed and forcefully took the sisters away and tied Sumati to a pillar.
On the other hand Anirudh ordered the driver to go back to that village but the driver denied him so because of this argument the car crashed and Anirudh and Batuk both got out and ran to the village.
Soon night fell and Bondita and Aashritha both were carried in a palki to the place of Antim sanskaar.
As soon as they left sumati grabbed a rod kept near her and freed herself and ran while Anirudh and Batuk were also coming towards their house.
"Bacha lo! Bacha lo meri bacchiyon ko" Sumati fell on Anirudh's feet.
"Kaaki aap humse badi hai, or dada kehte hai ki bade humesha sar utha ke aashirvaad dete hai naaki sar jhukate hai" said Batuk.
"Vo log unhe maar dalenge, sati kardenge, jinda jala denge" cried Sumati
"Uthiye aap uthiye main jaa raha hu unhe bachaane aap khadi to hoyiye" said Anirudh making Sumati stand up.
Anirudh and Batuk ran from there and Sumati followed them.
Anirudh along with Batuk reached in front of the people carrying the dead body.
"Ruko!" Screamed Anirudh and to stop them he put a fire line. On one side there were the villagers and on other side the unconscious girls, Sumati, Batuk and Anirudh were there.
"Pita, Pati, Putra koi to chahiye hoga samman ki raksha ke liye!" screamed Mama from other side of fire.
"Maa, beti, biwi chahiye kisi aadmi ko samman se jeene ke liye? Nahi na? To kis aurat ko kyu chahiye koi?" said Anirudh "BATAIYE NAA?"
"Humse kya punch rahe hai? Iski vidwa maa se puchiye? Kya ye chahti hai ki ye Bondita or Aashritha ko de apne jaisa jeevan? Is abaghi vidwa ke jeevan mein sirf andhkaar likha hai! BAS! Koi nahi jo iske jeevan mein roshni laa sake" said Mama.
"Aapme se koi hai yaha bhagwaan hai? Nahi naa? To in bachiyon ke jeevan mein andhakaar hoga is ka daawa kaise karsake hai haa?" screamed Anirudh while Batuk sat with Sumati trying to console her.
"Kaaki koi baat nahi ab mere dada aa gaye hai na? vo sabh kuch theek kar denge" said Batuk his eyes pinned on the eight year old girls.
"Arrey kya pata ki kal ye bachhiyaan khud roshni bane or sirf ek nahi aneko aurton ke jeevan se andhiyaara door kare! Aaj jo choti si chamak hai inke chehro par kal vo suraj banke kitno ko raah dikha sakti hai, andaaja hai aapko?" said Anirudh
"Jiska aaj hi naa ho uska bhavisya janke kya laabh?" said Mama "Aap aaj is vidhi ko rok lenge par kal ko koi inhe apnaeyga? samaaj mein koi inhe apna naam dega? Nahi, To aap kya chahte hai ki ye pal pal marti rahe?"
"Unhe galat paramparayon mein jhok sakte hai aap par unhe apnaane ki himmat nahi? Theek hai agar yaha kisiko yaha in bachiyon ki chinta nahi to mein sambhalunga inhe" said Anirudh
"Or humesha ki tarah mein dada ka saath dunga" said Batuk while everyone was shocked to hear the small boy.
"Hum sambhaalenge inhe or inhe itna layak bannayenge ki ek din aapki aankho mein aankhe daal kar aapse apne adhikaar mangengi" said Anirudh "Chaya to sirf roshni mein saath deti hai par mein Anirudh Roy Choudhary vaada karta hu ki iska saath andhkaar mein bhi dunga.
To stop all the questions about the relations Anirudh did the only thing he could think of he grabbed the sindoor near by and filled it in Bondita's maang. Copying his actions Batuk did the same and filled Aashritha's maang.
Everybody looked shocked.
"Batuk! ye kya kiya tumne?" asked Anirudh
"Wahi jo aapne kiya is ladki ki jaan bachai" Batuk shrugged
"Sirf sindoor bharne se kuch nahi hota agar kar sakte ho to asli Vivaah karo" people started saying
"Main shaadi karunga is ladki se par mere bhai se galti ho gayi vo" Anirudh said "Aise kaise galti se sindoor bahr diya, jab sindoor bhara hai to Vivaah karna padega, kis rishte se leke jaoge uski behen ko?"
"Haa, haa vivaah to karni parega" the villagers started protesting seeing this Anirudh said Ok but he was panicking inside he went to Batuk.
"Batuk tumhe pata hai tumne kya kiya" said Anirudh he was proud of his brother
"Haa, Vivaah karna padega mujhe us ladki se haina?" said Batuk
"Ye tumhari jindagi ka sawaal hai batuk" said Anirudh
"Jindagi to aapki bhi hai na dada koi baat nahi mein us ladki apna pakka mitra banake rakhunga" Batuk said maturely and Anirudh smiled proudly.

As soon as the sisters regained their consciousness. They got married to the brothers.
Many things were going in Aashritha's mind but she wasn't asking whereas Bondita was asking nonstop questions to Anirudh which he wasn't answering.
The main thing going on in her mind was "Didi or mera vivaah to ek hi dulhe se hone waali tha na to phir ye" when she asked this question to her mother she lied and said that it isn't true they were supposed to marry different guys.
Meanwhile Batuk was trying his best to understand the fact that how were the two girls twins when they were polar opposites, but he was also trying to be friends with his supposed wife.
"Tumhara naam kya hai?" asked Batuk as Aashritha heard his voice for the first time.
"Aa-Aashritha" said the girl scared of his reaction.
"To Aashritha meri mitra banogi tum?" asked Batuk a sweet smile stretched upon his face.
"Par aap to mere pati hai na to mitra kaise?" asked Aashritha sitting on the back side of the car.
"To kisi kitaab mein likha hai kya ki pati kabhi mitra nahi ban sakta?" asked Batuk with a teasing smile
"Mujhe nahi pata padhna kaha aata hai mujhe" said Aashritha bowing her head.
"Chalo main ek udharan deta hu, jaise ek tammashe waale ke paas bandariyaan hoti hai to vo usse apna dost batata hai par hoti to vo uski paltu hi naa" said Batuk
"Aapne mujhe bandariyan bola?" said Aashritha with a frown and deciding to tease her more Batuk said
"Haa bandariya, Nakchadi Bandariyan accha naam hai na?"
"Pati hai mere aap to agar mein Bandariyaan hui to aap hue na nakchade bandar?" said Aashritha with a smile.
"Theek hai to aaj se mein tumhara bandar or tum meri bandariyaan" said Batuk as both of them held hands and giggled.
Batuk looked towards Aashritha who was smiling and observed her face, She had a round face with puffy cheeks, her eyes were chestnut brown and her nose was button round with her small lips. her hairs were wavy as some of them were trying to escape the tight bun her hair was in.
