Eyes Are Everywhere

I stared into his eyes for a while without saying anything.
My head went into airplane mode.
I didn't even know what to say anymore. I guess I can't lie now since he probably heard most of the phone call. He suddenly pushed me against the wall when I didn't answer him and held my hands above my head, which is why I looked into his eyes with a bit of fear for a moment. This situation only brought back bad memories, which is why I averted my gaze from him as he approached me.
Fear overhelmed me.

Clearly.

For the first time in a long time, I was truly afraid of something or someone and unfortunately it has to be Chris. He began to speak again but this time in a dark and scary tone, "Look at me." I sighed and slowly turned my head to him only to look afraid into his eyes. He asked again, "Now tell me, who was that guy you were talking to? Don't try lying to me."

I panicked.

I didn't feel comfortable in this position at all and just wanted to get out of this house or at least out of his grip.
"Please.....
let me go Chris", I begged him quietly. He said, "I'll only let you go when you finally tell me what's going on here."
"Chan.....",
I begged again, close to tears.
Shit, I didn't wanted to be weak again especially not in front of him. As it seems it didn't really last for a long time.
After I still didn't say anything, he finally let go of me and I broke eye contact again. I grabbed my jacket and my shoes and actually wanted to go for a little walk as I planned, but Chris stopped me again for a moment and said, ''Wait. I'm coming with you. If something happens to you, it's my fault. I don't want to be responsible for your death.''
I just nooded exhausted because I just didn't feel like having a discussion at the moment. After a few minutes he was finished so we could leave the house. I didn't even ask myself why we exactly came here for the night but probably because it was the closest and is some kind of safe house.
There was silence between us during the walk. The only thing you could hear were our quiet footsteps on the wet sidewalk.
I enjoyed the silence and turned my attention to the beautiful starry sky above us.

I love the night.

One of the reasons why I only complete my missions at night.
''Are you scared of me?'', he suddenly asked while looking to the ground.
I answered, ''If I was afraid of you, I wouldn't have carried out many of my actions against you." "Then why did you look at me so scared earlier?", he asked again.
I turned my head to him and briefly thought about what I should answer.
I replied, "This situation just brought back some memories. That's all. You don't need to know anything more about it and besides, it's none of your business who I spoke to on the phone.''
He nodded finally in defeat as an answer as I pierced him with my intrusive stare. There was silence again as we slowly approached my favorite park. I sat down at a fountain and Chris just stood next to me and looked at the water through which I created waves with my hand. I made circular movements with my hand over the water, causing it to move in the air using my unique abilities and began to glow bright blue. I began to speak, "Not many people know about my abilities." I formed an ice dagger out of the water and pointed it at Chris as I looked at him. I said, "You're lucky to be one of the few people who know. If you tell anyone else I will slit your throat before you can even blink." He smirked a bit and said, "Now I know why so many are afraid of you. Just from your charisma you know that there is danger." I smiled and turned back to the fountain. After a while he asked, "This is how your ice arrows are made....
correctly?" I nooded. He asked again, "How do they not melt?" "My magic takes care of that. It looks like normal ice but in reality it's not. It's difficult to explain." He just nooded and said nothing more. I just simply played with the water, which calmed me a bit down and took all the stress from my shoulders away but only for a moment. "We must go", he said in a quiet and serious tone. I turned my head to him in confusion. What I didn't know was that someone was watching us the whole time. I stayed quiet and didn't even listen to him. Whoever is watching us isn't going to get away easily. I focused on my surroundings so that I might find out where this person is hiding so I can kill them myself. Suddenly there was a rustling noise. I think it came from the bushes across from the fountain we are at. "Hae-Yeon", he whispered again. I reached my hand out to the bushes and pulled out the person behind it with my telekinesis. Chris was a little surprised because he didn't expected that obviously. I began to speak, "Did you really think we wouldn't notice you?" I wrapped my hand around his neck and gripped it tightly. "So....", I said as I slowly deflated him.
"....if you don't immediately explain why you are here, then I will kill you slowly and painfully until you finally speak", I continued to say and spotted Chris next to me, grinning at me.

Silence.

All you could hear was silence.

"Well then, if you have nothing to say then there is no reason to keep you alive", I threatened. The drawing of my knife was the only sound that could be heard in this silence. My knife lightly grazed his cheek and, with a little pressure, left a bloody trail. I grinned mischievously at my work.
"OKAY, OKAY!!
I'm talking okay? Just please.... please don't kill me....", he finally gave in.
