Chris and I made him blindfolded because that way he can't see that we are dragging him to Chris' basement where we are gonna' question him properly.
To be honest, I wonder where Chris got the blindfold. On the other hand, I don't want to know. We locked him in the basement and tied him up to a chair before we went back into the living room to discuss what we should do next.
"Do you perhaps know this guy?", I asked him. He shook his head.I sighed.
And I thought the day would be relaxed for once.
"I suggest I go and question him first. If he doesn't answer then I'll just torture him. Do you agree?", I spoke up first about the plan. He answered, "Sure. Have your fun. But don't kill him. We'll need him later." I smiled mischievously, "You know I can't promise anything." And with that I went down to the basement with a lash in my hand. I walked over to him and knelt in front of the chair. "So. We'll play a little game together. It's easy. I ask you questions and you answer them. If you refuse then there will be consequences. Understood?", I explained to him in my usual cold tone. He nooded immediately so I took off his blindfold. I stood up and grabbed a chair to sit across from him. I began, "First question. Who are you?"
"I cannot reveal my identity. They will kill me", he said.
"I don't care. Besides, you'll die before you even step out of that door", I threatened him.
"My name is Kim Wonsik. I work for a secret organization named 'The Shadow Council' ", he answered the question.
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, "TSC?....", I spoke to myself.
"Why is TSC sending people after us?", I asked the second question.
"My boss told me to spy on you two because of his ongoing plan", Wonsik replied.
I rolled my eyes, "Well, what's his plan dumbass?"
He replied, "I don't know what he's exactly up to but he said that he wants you two and the biggest Mafia of Korea dead."
"Everyone wants us dead. You need to be more precisely if you don't want me to shove this lash up your ass", I hissed at him.
"I really don't know anything else.
Please....
have mercy.
I have family", he pleaded and was on the edge of tears.
"Did your former boss had mercy on my family? Tell me Wonsik. Did he?", I asked while lifting his chin up with my hand. He shook his head.
"Right. He didn't. So why should I spare you?", I asked again but this time he didn't answer.
I stood up from my chair and walked behind him. I put the lash around his neck and squeezed it so hard that he could barely breathe. While he struggled to breathe, I leaned down to him and said, "You probably know that I would love to kill you but unfortunately I have to wait a bit because we still need you." I let go of him which caused him to gasp. On my way out I added, "Alive." Back in the living room where I found Chris before some monitors, I put the lash on the couch before walking up to him. We watched Wonsik through the cameras how he was trying to escape which didn't went that successful. "Did you fear I would kill him or why did you watched everything on the cameras?", I asked him. "For a moment, I really thought you will kill him but to answer your question, I just wanted to know what you two were talking about. That's all", he answered quite angry if I'm not wrong. He seemed a little off so I asked him about it, "Did anything happen?" He gave me a look of confusion and asked, "What?" I sighed. I think I do that quite often. "You seem quite angry and a little bit off. Did anything happen while I was in the basement?", I questioned again. He replied, "Uhhh.... no. Everything is fine. I'm just tired that's all." Does he think I'm stupid? Of course I've noticed how he hesitated to answer and he's not really good at lying. I made my way to the kitchen to grab a glass of water. As I did so, I spoke again, "Look. I don't really care what is going on with you but if you don't handle this it would only give our opponent more weak points to attack us with." He just nodded to make it clear to me that he understood. "Good. Let's get to the actual topic",I began to speak again. He also filled himself a glass of water while I leaned against a wall and began to talk again, "I summarize. This guy in your basement is part of an organization called TSC. He should be observing us because apparently his boss needs a plan to eliminate us and your mafia." He nodded and took over the talking, "Actually that's the reason why I wanted you to come to my mansion. A few days ago I received a letter. There were pictures of us and a thread written in it. It said that we would atone for our deeds. The only information about who send the letter was TSC, which was written on the back of the envelope. I thought you would know TSC because you know a lot more about these kind of things in Korea and I was right with that." He looked at me expectantly. I said, "Yeah, I know them. Unfortunately too good." "Who are they?, he asked curious. "They're actually not that special. They are a small organization with not really skilled people. They work in the shadows which means that no one can catch them because they're really good at disappearing and hiding. Mostly they just do some robberies or kill people who they think are bad for their business." "People like us?", he questioned. I nodded as an answer and kept talking, "In the past, they never targeted more powerful people because people like us are on another level. Not like normal killers." He asked again, "What changed their mind?" I replied, "Well, I think that is my fault. I killed their former boss. I think they just want revenge and become the ones who are powerful." "Why did they kill your family?", he asked slowly 'cause he knew that this is a topic no one should bring up. I looked away and just answered casually, "My family was a part of that organization. My parents helped to create it with the Park family. After a while the Park family wanted the power for themselves so they tried to eliminate everyone of my family. Before you ask, I survived because I killed the leader after a few days of my familys death." "But that would mean you were like what 7 years old?", he didn't believed me at first. I looked back at him and added, "Like I said. They aren't very skilled so it was nothing for me." He asked, "Does this mean that we don't have to fear anything? As what we saw today they aren't even able to spy on us." I smirked, "Careful. I said they aren't skilled but not that they are stupid. They know what they do. Everything what TSC did by now is all a part of their big plan so we shouldn't underestimate them." "Well, what should we do now?", he asked. He really is as stupid as Felix says.
