The party for my initiation into the Pokemon rescue squad was alot of fun! I let out metagross, absol, altaria, and sableye to enjoy the party too. I watched everything going on and smiled. Everything was looking great!
Lacy was sitting with some of the other members, talking, and laughing, having the time of her life! Then The music started and she sprung up and ran to the dance floor, dancing her heart out.
Metagross and absol stood side-by-side, watching everything, while some of the other Pokemon of the Pokemon rescue squad watched them with wide eyes. Absol and metagross always kept their cool, and were my most powerful team mates, but they are both very kind also. One little lilipup walked up to absol and lightly nudged absol's leg. Absol looked down and smiled a little, starting to play with the group of lilipup that surrounded him in no time. While metagross met a ferothron and a bisharp. they told some stories and one almost challenged metagross. But metagross denied, seeing that the party was not a good time for it.
Sableye, not surprisingly, was running around, chasing some small Pokemon, playfully, and running to the buffet table.
"What awesome Pokemon you have!"
One member said, while he ran after absol and the lilipup,
"Yeah, I think sableye's cute!"
Another member remarked as she watched sableye chase the Pokemon,
"And lacy is a great dancer!"
Another female member said, as she turned and saw lacy dancing crazily with a male member,
"I just hope she can give me back my boyfriend!"
I laughed as I told stories of my hoenn adventures and how I met all my Pokemon, while altaria flew around in the open area.
"... You should know that this is only a special occasion, it's not every day we have a new member of the Pokemon rescue squad... But don't let your guard down, starting tomorrow, things will be very tough for you, rookie,"
Some member said to me while taking a sip of his drink. He was a rather dark figure, but I was used to that kind of trainer.
"I'll take the advice, thanks,"
He nodded and walked off, other trainers started asking questions about hoenn and myself. Most of the night I was talking while my Pokemon had fun.
Lacy walked up, out of breath from all the dancing and talked with me
"It seems our team is popular with the members of the squad! Isn't this great, james?!"
She said as she quickly hugged me,
"It is...! Now, please let go... The other members might end up seeing,"
She quickly stopped and smiled brightly, giggling a little,
"Oh, right! I forgot!"
"It's alright, lacy,"
She pulled me by the hands and ran with me to the dance floor, dancing with me, even more crazily, because of how happy she was.
"Haha! Lacy! You're in a good mood!"
She smiled a big smile and nodded as she threw me around in her dance, while I played along.
The night passed and the party ended after a final welcome to the team.
After helping the deconstruction while lacy still danced without the music, virgle's father, the leader of the Pokemon rescue squad came up and gave me the key to my room and a small book about the Pokemon rescue squad.
"Welcome to the team, virgle will show you to your room, have a good night,"
I nodded as he walked out. after returning all my pokemon, but lacy, I walked over to virgle.
"Right this way, james!"
We left the building and went to another one next door, with the showers, restrooms, and dormitory rooms.
"98, 99, 101... One-o-one, here it is!"
I walked up and tested the key, it worked! I walked inside with lacy after me, and virgle last.
"This is your room! Feel free to customize it however you want! There's a desk, a closet, and a personal bathroom. Basically it's a hotel room, but without charge! Haha!"
"Haha! Good one, virgle! Hey, it's about time I talked to kimmy! Want to join me?"
"Sure! But, whose kimmy?"
I pulled out my laptop and started it up while I explained.
"You see, kimmy is my friend from hoenn, we started our journey and did everything together! She's the one you should thank, or else I would never have left the hoenn region!"
"I'll make a note of it,"
"Or you could say it to me, right now!"
Kimmy said with a laugh as we both turned to the monitor to see the video chat already started!
"Haha! How's the first day, james?!"
"It was awesome! I'm officially a manner of the Pokemon rescue squad! And we had a party for it, too!"
"Woop! I'm so happy for you, james!" She smiled and cheered, then virgle started introducing,
"Hey! I'm virgle! I'm one of the Pokemon rescue squad members! My dad's the leader, actually! But I lead team eevee!"
He said while eevee jumped on his shoulder and smiled at kimmy,
"And this is my newest member, eevee!"
"Hi, virgle! Hi, eevee! I hope you two can keep an eye on james for me!"
"Haha! I can take care of myself, kimmy! You know that!"
She laughed and we told stories while lacy colapses on the bed in exhaustion from all that dancing.
After about an hour of talking we said goodbye and kimmy left the chat.
"She's a nice girl! Well, goodnight!" Virgle said while eevee followed him out of my room.
"Goodnight!"
I got up and looked at lacy while he slept peacefully. Then I went to freshen up, threw off my shirt, and lay down on the other side of the bed.
"Goodnight, lacy."
I fell asleep and thought about what that one member said;
"... Starting tomorrow, things will be very tough for you, rookie!"
I fell asleep with the thought in mind... But I didn't really know how right he was...
Tomorrow would be a challenge...
