Y/n Y/l/n was walking down the halls of your high school as you looked for your boyfriend, Alex Walter, kind of a nerd? yup that's the one. Most people thought your relationship was weird and unexpected, especially because you were popular, and Alex was more of the quiet, shy guy.
But that's just what everyone thought.
He was actually talkative if you really got to know him, he was like the nerd that everyone thought was weird but to you he wasn't, he was a lot more than that, he was sweet, and kind, caring, helpful, smart, funny, and so much more.
But when you didn't see him in the halls you wondered where he was and became slightly concerned.
It wasn't like him to not come to school.
You walked over to Cole who was by your guy's lockers, Cole was basically your brother, you guys had been friends longer than you had been friends with Alex. Since you both were popular, Cole for being on the football team and also the hottest guy in school, and you for being on the cheer team and for also being the hottest girl in school, you two had spent quite some time together considering your friend groups mixed.
You guys hadn't talked at first but when you did it was awkward but at some point, you guys grew closer and became friends and then you started to go over to the Walter's and that was when you met Alex.
"Where's Alex?" you questioned Cole who was talking to Erin by your lockers, "Aww, do you miss your boyfriend?" he teased, you rolled your eyes at him and asked again, "I don't know," he shrugged, you wished the two a happy Valentine's Day as you walked away.
You searched the halls looking for him, but he was nowhere to be found.
You then thought it would be a good idea to search outside and when you did, there he stood with a bouquet of flowers, your favorite flowers, with a sweet smile.
Smiling back at him as you rushed over to him, pulling him into a tight hug, "Happy Valentines Day," he whispered into your ear as he held onto you being careful not to smush the flowers, you pulled back and bought him into a passionate kiss.
He then pulled away wanting to kiss back, "Can you wait till after, I ask?" he questioned, you nodded, "Y/n, you are my best friend and girlfriend, and I love you so much, will you be my Valentine?" not even responding you just pulled him into a kiss, hoping that answered his question.
"That answer your question?" you asked pulling away from him, "Yeah," he nodded, pulling you back into the kiss.
"I have another surprise, if you don't mind skipping school?" you nodded in agreement not wanting to be at school at all, "Let's go!"

Alex took Y/n to the Walter household making sure that he snuck into the barn just in case anyone was home.
He took you upstairs to the loft, as they called it, telling you to close your eyes as you used your hands to climb up the latter, he guided you through it as you went up the latter.
"Now you can take off the blind fold," he told you referring to the fact that you had been complaining about not wanting to wear it and not being able to see.

this set out on a small table that sat on the floor on the loft. You smiled at Alex surprised that he put all of this together in just a few hours. "I love it!" you beamed with a smile, pulling him into a hug and kiss thanking him over and over again.
"There's more," you looked at him incredulously, "More?" you asked, "There doesn't need to be more," you told him, "Well there is," he shrugged, he walked over to a bean bag that sat on the floor in the corner.
He picked up a medium sized red gift bag that was filled with what looked like quite a few things, including wrapping paper, he handed you the bag letting you have at it.
You sent him a thankful smile that he gladly sent back as you two sat down getting comfortable on the hard wood floor. You opened the bag, immediately ripping the wrapping paper out, grabbing each item out one by one.
It was filled with your favorite chips, candies, jewelry, a hair clip, a signed book by your favorite author, a mug, box of chocolates, notebook, since he knows how much you love writing, and a handwritten card.
You thanked him about a hundered times and then finally reached into your backpack for his present, "You didn't have to get me anything," he told you, "It's okay, I wanted to," you shrugged handing him the same bag.
He opened it to see a handwritten card, basically telling him how much you love him and hoped that you guys could spend the rest of your lives together etc. after reading the card with you lying your head on his shoulder, he reached into the bag and pulled out a small box.
"Oh god, what did you do?" he asked, neither of you liked when the other bought expense gifts, you didn't like it because you hated being spoiled but sometimes there was an exception and Alex didn't like it because he knew that you were trying to save up for a car.
"Just open it,"
He opened it to reveal a watch, gold watch.
"I love it! thank you!" he exclaimed pulling you into a hug, "But what happened to saving up for a car?" he asked, "Don't worry about it," you shrugged.
You smiled at him as he put it on and pulled him into a kiss once he was done.
