2. Gifted

Su Qing was an avid novel reader in her original life. She would read whenever she did not feel like studying. Reading online novels gradually became a big part of her hospital stays as she grew older.

To disguise as an ordinary looking girl was easy. There were many ideas that she could remember from reading those online novels.

The first was not to wear any makeup.

The second was to wear a pair of black round glasses so she would look like a nerd.

The third was to tie her medium long hair into a relaxed ponytail just like every other ordinary girl.

Su Qing wore a pair of small platinum silver earrings shaped like a ball as small earrings would not draw attention to her big, beautiful eyes.

She also put on a hair band so she could keep her fringe away to complete the disguise.

She had decided to maintain this image until she complete her final year exams and go to college.

Su Qing had lived as Dai Qing from the age of three. Su Qing did not want to go through the basic education, so she jumped to Grade One when she was four.

Three months later, she asked her parents to let her take piano and art lessons which her parents readily agreed.

Another three months later, she asked for special permission to focus on her art lessons which the school agreed after considering her excellent academic results and art talent.

That year, she only needed to go back to school to take her end of year exams to advance to Grade Two.

As she displayed great talent at oil painting, the school had arranged with her parents to specially allow her to take periodic tests via email and her parents to make sure they turn on the webcam and tune in to a video sharing application with the school that she did the test by herself.

The school also required her to only come back to school for her mid-year and end of year exams to advance to Grade Three.

That year, she also asked to learn swimming which her parents agreed.

Not long after, she had started to earn some income for herself as her parents posted her paintings at their Weibo account, which a massive online community similar to Twitter. After gaining some good feedback, they created a Weibo account for her where she could sell and post her own works as well as to share her thoughts.

As for piano lessons, even though Su Qing was a head taller than her counterparts, she could not reach the pedals of the piano when she was four. Hence, she wanted to come back learning piano again when she was older.

When Su Qing turned seven, she was at Grade Four. It was the year she took up piano lessons again and cut down on the frequency of art lessons. She also asked to learn cycling that year.

As for school, they continued the special arrangement as she continued to score full marks for the tests. Su Qing led a fulfilling and disciplined life as her mom had a timetable done up for her.

Dai Qing's mom, Ye Ningxin, was a tiger mom. She would arrange the nanny to help bring her daughter to the library, to expose her to different levels of books about once a month. Although she was strict, Su Qing was glad that Ningxin had made sure there was appropriate resting time as well.

Su Qing successfully made everyone believed that she was talented in piano and art, as she had actually learnt piano and advanced art lessons in her past life.

Her past life mom signed her up for it. Su Qing grew to love these hobbies but stopped engaging it when her condition deteriorated and had to stay at the hospital for long periods of time.

Su Qing genuinely loved these two hobbies.

Su Qing also genuinely loved her current life. She was so grateful that her system, whom she affectionately called it 777, had chosen her to become a destiny maker.
