Chapter 13

Winter break ended which meant a couple things
One: classes started up again

Two: Nate and I aren't the only Hufflepuffs anymore. (and no he still hasn't talked to me.)

Three: Ron and Hermione came back which means we get to tell them all about Tom Riddles Diary.

"So Hagrid set the monster on all those people." Harry said concluding the story.

Hermione shook her head as I expected her to do, "I don't believe it's Hagrid."

"Yeah" Ron chimed in "sounds to me like this Riddle person is nothing but a bloody snitch!"

"I'm going with Ron on this one, Hagrid wouldn't hurt a fly. he's our friend, why don't we just go ask him?"

"Have you gone mad Sadie! That would be such an amazing visit don't you think!" Ron fired back "let's see what it would be like hmm! 'Hello Hagrid, tell us have you been setting anything mad and Hairy loose in the castle lately?' "

"Mad and Hairy? You wouldn't be talking about me now would you?" Hagrid said appearing behind us.

Crap...

"No" we replied quickly. It was silent for a few seconds then I noticed that Hagrid was carrying something.

"What've you got there Hagrid?"
He lifted the green can and showed us the label.

"Flesh eating slug repellent, for the Mandrakes. now they still have a little ways to go but soon they'll be ready to unfreeze the people down at the hospital. so just be careful ok?"

And with that he walked away. Neville came sprinting towards us,
"Harry you have to come now, I don't know who's done it but c'mon!"

We ran to the Gryffindor common room and up to the boys dormitory.

When I say a mess, I mean like a tornado came through kinda mess.
Harry's part of the room was completely trashed.

Feathers were flying here and there from the torn up pillows and mattress, the sheets and curtains were ripped, books torn apart, frames broken and thrown astray on the floor, clothes everywhere.

"It must've been a Gryffindor, no one else knows our password... unless it wasn't a student." Hermione said sifting through the mess.

"Tom Riddles diary is gone."

Today we have a quidditch match, Hufflepuff vs. Gryffindor! HAHA I GET TO TAKE HARRY DOWN!

Amanda Sprint is giving the team the usual pep talk about how it's not about winning it's about having fun... NOT WHEN ITS AGAINST MY BROTHER ITS NOT!!

We were about to walk onto the field when Professor McGonagal stopped us and told us that the match was canceled.

"Aw but I was so ready to kick my brothers butt! This only happens so often Professor!"

I said putting on mock pout. The corners of her mouth went up but quickly went back down in a serious manner.

"We have to find your brother and Mr. Weasley. you have to see something." and with that I did not argue I just took my broom with me and followed her to the Gryffindor tent.

The team was just coming out of the tent when McGonagal gave the news to Wood who wasn't to happy. she took me and Harry to find Ron sitting in the stands all by himself.

Professor took us to the Hospital Wing, on the way we bumped into Nate unfortunately. she told him to come with us because he should see it too since he was our 'friend'.
