Harry and Sadie Potter an the Chamber of Secrets

Chapter 7

"Psst Sadie! Sadie! Wake up! Wake up!" I opened my eyes groggily and scanned my surroundings.

I was at the same table from last night that I had been doing my homework at. Nate was kneeling down next to me.

I lifted my arm and patted around his head. "where's the damn snooze button?" I said groggily.
Through my squinted eyes I could see him smiling.

"Sadie you have to see this wake up!"
"But it's Saturday!" I whined burying my face in my arms.

"It's something creepy that you should see! It has something to do with your brother, people think he's guilty" My eyes shot open and my head shot up.

"I'm up! What happened!" I asked worry in my voice.
"Get changed I'll show you after."

I ran upstairs and put on a pair of leggings, fuzzy boots, and a long wooly sweater, I pulled my hair into a braided pony tail and ran back down stairs.

"Wait, did we fall asleep at the table?"
I stopped in my tracks at the new thought.

"Yeah, I would've woke you but you looked so peaceful." Nate said stopping in his tracks. he scratched the back of his neck awkwardly.

I just nodded my head once and shot out of the common room with Nate at my heels.
He ran ahead of me and turned the corner. I started to get worried about what he was showing me.

But when my eyes trailed up to the wall I gasped at the sight. the wall had blood painted all over it. but there was a message in it.

"The chamber of Secrets has been opened. Enemies of the heir... beware."
"Ok that's freaky in so many ways."

he nodded his head in agreement. both our eyes wide in shock.
"I wonder who would do this? And what does it mean?"
I asked turning away from the freaky wall.

I don't know why The Chamber of Secrets sounded so familiar but I think I remember reading something about it.

"I don't know, but I do know that it doesn't seem good." Replied Nate, by the look on his face he must be thinking about it really hard.

"I better go talk to Harry about this." I said turning away and broke out into a jog.
I ran back to the common room with Nate close behind me.

I pulled out the tunnel book, and the fire extinguished itself and the door opened.
We jumped to the door and ran through it to Gryffindors common room.

I opened the door slightly to see if anyone was there, but unfortunately the room was packed with students getting ready for the free day.

I sighed quietly "we'll talk to him later"
And we turned around and walked back to our common room.

"I don't get it Nate! I feel like I've heard of the Chamber before! But I don't know where... " I said outside the door back into the Hufflepuff common room.

"I must've read it somewhere, not really understood it and stopped reading. If only I knew the book..."

Just then a thought hit me. my face perked up ten sizes.
"Wait a sec! Who do we know that knows every single book by heart?"

Nate pondered on this for a moment with a questioned look on his face.
He must have figured it out because his face lit up like a light bulb and he snapped his fingers.

"CATHY!" We said at the same time.
"Of course! She knows everything that goes on in this school! she's the gossip queen!" Nate exclaimed.

"Well let's go!" I grabbed Nate's wrist and dragged him down part of corridor before he stopped dragging his feet and ran with me.

We sprinted down the hallway to Ravenclaws common room.
I opened the door to see Cathy in her usual spot on the couch with her face jammed in a book.
