(Author's Note: This Side Story starts long, long ago, way before the start of the story, and it's from Lonril's point of view, mainly about his creation, so I hope you enjoy!)
Delveros, the red-haired God of Chaos, sits upon his throne in his castle, but he suddenly feels a horrifyingly painful sensation, as if he's being torn apart. "N-no...Zandark..."
Delveros feels himself weakening. "It is only a matter of time before..." He takes off his crown and looks at it. "I must find a successor somehow..." He thinks. "I must create a champion, to seek out someone to take my crown..." He starts to concentrate his power.

The first thing I see is a strange, yet familiar man with red hair and wings. I sense that he is responsible for my existence, so I kneel. "Master. What purpose do I serve?"
The man smiles. "You may stand, Lonril Norvendis." I stand, realizing that that must be what he has chosen to name me. "I am Delveros, the God of Chaos, and I have created you for a glorious purpose, Lonril. You are to find me a successor, to take my place as the new god of Chaos."
I nod. "Understood. What exactly do I need to do to accomplish this?" Delveros thinks. "I have given you eternal life, so you need not worry about ceasing to exist before your mission is complete. As for what you need to do, there is an extremely high chance that this person you must find is a descendant of mine."
I give him a confused look. "Descendant?" He nods. "Yes. This person will admittedly be the descendant of a forbidden child I had at one point in the past." I'm even more confused. "Forbidden? Why was the child forbidden?"
Delveros sighs. "The gods are not meant to have children, whether with other gods or mortals. Lord Norzelrin, the leader of us gods, set that law. He said that if us gods were to have children, the potential gods or half-gods could make things much too...chaotic." Delveros smirks a little. "I broke the rule because I am the god of Chaos, after all."
I chuckle. "That sounds about right, yes." Delveros looks at me determinedly. "I am not much longer for this world, I'm afraid. Something I should also mention while I still live is that I have imbued you with some of my power. Due to me being the god of Chaos, the ways it could manifest into abilities is unknown, even to me. You will have to discover it yourself."
I nod sadly. "I understand, Master. I will not fail you!" Delveros smiles. "I know you won't, Lonril. You are my pride and joy, after all." Delveros embraces me in a hug, then everything becomes bright.
When I can see again, Master is gone, and the castle looks...different. It seems to have transformed into a shrine, with a pedestal in the center. I go closer and I notice that the crown Master had is now there.
I place my hands on it, and I sense its extreme power flow through me, then I close my eyes and see a silhouette of a man, but no matter how much I concentrate, I can't make out any features, so I sigh and turn away from the crown. "I have a lot of work to do if I want to figure out how to fulfill Master's wish..."
*******************************************
Over time, I experimented with my abilities in Master's shrine, and I figured out how to open portals between The Chaos Realm and the human realm, the world Norzelrin.
I spent time in the shrine, and multiple abilities manifested over time, such as summoning clones, teleporting around, and summoning copies of the rapier Master had created me with, which I named The Needle, for its thin blade.
Over thousands and thousands of years, I traveled Norzelrin, never staying in one place too long, and I learned a great deal about the world's inhabitants. I also developed a love of reading, and I even wrote a few books of my own, but under fake names, of course. At least all the ones after my first one were published under fake names.
