Broomsticks, Evie began to head back to her dorm as the others did. All except Mattheo."Good night," she said, turning her back to him.
"Good night, I'll see you tomorrow?" he said with the same cocky smile.
"Pretend, remember?" she said, turning back around to face him, now standing in front of her dorm door. "Stop flirting."
"You know you wish it was real." He still had the same cocky smile on his face. Evie let out a sigh, "whatever, good night."
"Good night."
Entering the door, Evie noticed a note on her windowsill. She didn't remember setting a piece of parchment paper there.
She walked over to it, lifting it from the white windowsill and unfolding it.
Guess who? Hey Evelyn. You know, you never told me if you were going to take me up on my offer.
But I can see that your boyfriend Mattheo wouldn't really like it if you talked to us, but he isn't your boyfriend, is he? You looked so confused when he came over.
Just let me know if you will take us up on the offer.
Harry J. Potter.
Evie let out a scoff. Of course Harry fucking Potter wrote to her. Was he obsessed with her or something? Why did he want to be friends with her so bad.
Looking over at her cat, Luna, she sighed. "Boys are stupid, huh?" she said, petting the black fur on her back.
Evelyn got out a sheet of parchment paper and a quill, writing back.
Boyfriend? You're funny.
And just so you know, I would get killed by my brother if I ever became friends with you and those two.
Not like I want to anyways.
— Evie B.N.
She sent the letter by owl then went to sleep.
The next morning after changing into her skirt, button up, and tie, she did her hair in a low messy bun and then went to the Great Hall for breakfast.
