I close the book I'm reading...
Hm...so I can't legally hit someone unless they actually attack me or others in my vicinity and have confirmation of a threat of violence to me or others in my vicinity....
Sounds close to the laws back home... Oh boy, this seems far easier than dumpster diving for clothes, which I did have to do for the purpose of traveling in public. Thanks to this world's nut J.J.J, a good portion of this Kingdom sort of hates my guts... But I could fix that by turning in this underworld crime lord, this Junior fella, who is running a "Protection" service, which is truly just a form of extortion on local businesses.... Now then, onto the next book....
I grab the book which reads, The History of Dust.... Apparently, it is like a fuel-like substance, according to the other books, which explain the expansion of futuristic technology...
???: Excuse me.
Eh?
I look up and see a girl with black hair, with a buttoned up black vest, on top of a white sleeveless under shirt. Whites short with black to purple stockings and low heeled black boots. Of course wait- isnt that the big black bow that gal from the other day who disappeared?
I have to say the fashion around this place is just as extravagant as in New York.... Don't stare too much Parker, you'll look like some perverted idiot. I push up my glasses, that may not be practical for any use, but gives an illusion of wimpy nerd.
Peter: Um yes, can I help you miss?
Odd Bow girl: Yeah, could you move your leg? You're kinda blocking the books I want to get to...
She looks away with a slight blush, I notice my leg is blocking off the book shelf, I quickly stand up and look at the self...
Peter: I'm sorry about that, I must've lost myself in the books...
I notice her reaching for a few books... most of them are called Ninjas of Love, must be a really good series... She shows a faint smile but quickly fades
Odd Bow Girl: No worries, all good books do that even...
