N/A short chapter I know but this is mostly a filler chapter so yeah. Also check out the new redesign for Arta

As we finished the tour of the hotel, Charlie took me aside and  walked me up to my room.

Charlie fidgeted with her hair as we walked, as if she were hesitant to say anything. Family portraits and images of the Deadly Sins lined the hotel hallways. I noticed when I looked at Charlie.

"Charlie. Dear" I say sighing "you are going to pull out your hair if you keep that up" I say while looking up at her.

"Sorry Aunt." Charlie says quietly.

"Dont ever be sorry, Charlie" I say sternly.

We stop in our tracks, and I give Charlie a small smile.

"Charlie, is their something you want to say?" I question.

She's looks at me with tired eyes. " it's nothing, I really don't want to talk about it right" she looks away.

I look aside from her, straight ahead. Naturally, Darling. I'll be in my room when you want to chat about it.

She gives me a little smile and says, "Thank you."

"Now let's talk about my room." I inquire once more. "Where might that be?"

"Yes, indeed! Naturally, of course! She says, "Right this way," as she moves down the corridor.

I noticed a room door with the number 389 on it as we were moving through the hallways. It had a rich crimson color with touches of dark green. Adorned with antlers on the front.

'I will keep this door in mind. It might be helpful in the future' I thought

"How much further my dear?" I say, The constant movement from place to place was starting to wear me out.

"Don't worry Auntie, I'm trying to find a good room that will fit you perfectly," she says excitedly.

"Alright." I say in defeat

As we walked a few more feet we came to a white door that looked old and withered with the number 673

I gave a questioning look at Charlie." You sure this is my room?"

"Yes of course!" she says confidently. " Now, that's done we are going to have a game to play in about an hour so please meet us in the lobby near the fireplace."

"Mmkay," I say with a fake smile " see you then."

As I watched her leave I turned to face my withered door, not particularly excited about entering this room. I take in a deep breath, not particularly excited about what I might find on the other side. I turned the knob with a sharp breath.

The decor of the room is a rich, calming dark green that conveys the peace of a remote forest. The focal point of the room is a canopy bed, which has a wood frame and is covered in sheer curtains. The light from the fairy lights creates a cozy and pleasant glow. With its cozy blankets and cushions in soothing earthy tones, the bed begs my for rest and relaxation.

In a corner, a charming library awaits, its shelves lined with a diverse array of books. A cozy armchair invites contemplation, upholstered in rich green velvet, nestled beside a vintage brass floor lamp that casts a gentle light over the pages of beloved stories.

Heavy velvet curtains frame the large window, allowing natural light to filter into the room during the day. The polished hardwood floor is adorned with a plush rug, adding warmth and texture to the space. Lush greenery in the form of potted plants and fresh flowers adds a touch of nature's serenity.

This room is a sanctuary of peace and reflection, where one can escape into the pages of a book or simply bask in the cozy embrace of the canopy bed, surrounded by the comforting hues of dark green and the soft glow of warm lights.

Charlie truly does know me well. As I walked toward the bed I was hugged by the blanket– taking a deep breath truly sinking in what was happening. I take a few minutes to collect myself before heading down for the activity.
