Ascetic hospital, Canaan

A young angel stood quietly lying on the bed, sweating cold out of pain, yet not even his finger moved. Two other people stood in the room. Another angel and a goddess, the first could only ask himself how things turned out like this... But he knew... Of course he knew... He was there after all...

Council meeting area, Cannan (one moon ago)

The mysterious male had just disappear into the shadows, and the four people stood still, one on the ground checking his friend condition, the other three stood on their respective places, Purizumu nervously looking at Naki from a distance, Annika looking between the shadows and her older brother, while Amartya was still sitting on his throne, eyes closed, with a focused aura. He stood up, immediately grabbing the attention of the other three. "We have no time to lose. This 'Einar' is truly dangerous. And I do not want to have more casualties. Lux, take Naki to the hospital." And without wasting a second so did the angel. "Purizumu, Annika, call upon every deity, angel and demon. We'll make an official announcement in the space of two moons. Do not delay." And with that he left, back to his temple to research about this topic, his siblings followed his words without a sound as usual.

Ascetic hospital, Canaan (present day)

The young man could only stare, tightly holding his best friend hand, as the older woman spoke, Altha, goddess of medicine. "I apologize Lux... I am afraid even I cannot do much but try to slow the propagation process..." She could only offer him an apologetic smile that was not even received, as the man's eyes did not leave the angel lying on the bed, black marks across his body, however his attention was caught by the goddess' next words. "It seems this is some sort of... black magic. Here we do not have anything but the basic knowledge about such topic... Personally I also do not know of anyone with such knowledge." But he did. He knew such a person. He couldn't delay. No. Everyone's life was on the line, after all. He stood up. "Pardon me, Miss Altha, I need to go."

Amartya temple, Myrk

Arriving at the temple, Lux didn't waste any time getting intimidated by the aura around the building, or by the voices seemly screaming around it, instead, he quickly rushed to the entrance but was stopped before he could walk inside. "Halt." A female voice spoke. "I deeply apologize for my lack of courtesy, but I'm afraid I must speak to His Grace immediately." Lux apologised, turning around he was then faced by a demon woman, only slightly shorter than himself, said woman had a half burned figured and yet the first thing the angel noticed was her attire, after all, neither in his home plane, Skær, or the plane he's been living for some time, Canaan, would he see someone only wearing the bottom part of their robes and bandages to cover the top... It is indeed true that he has not been to Myrk that much in his life.

"Oh? Aren't you General Patience? Uhm...Lux, correct?" The demon smiled, showing her pointy teeth, she looked a lot less intimidating when she smiled, but from being referred to by his official title made him curious, the 7 Heavenly Virtues and the 7 Capital Sins were not known for their amiability with one another after all. "Pardon me, but do I know you?" The woman showed no sight of being offended and only continued to smile. "We fought together in the Pséftiki epanástasi, kind of where I got this pretty thing!" She laughed as she pointed at her burned side, however Lux could only muster an awkward smile as he imagined the pain she must have gone through, in all truth, although he had indeed fought in that great war, it was truly a dark time, with a lot of casualities and pain, the reasons behind the war were covered by the gods so not even he knew them. He had stayed at the back lines with Naki providing air coverage with their bows, so he did not have such big scars on his body. "Anyways, you said you had something important to discuss with His Grace? I won't get in your way anymore." She smiled signaling towards the temple door with her head. "O-Oh! Right. Many thanks... uhm..." "Arabella." "Many thanks General Arabella." He smiled back politely before hurrying inside the temple.
