Council meeting area, Canaan
Lux couldn't help scanning the letter again just as he finished reading for the first time, surely this person was jesting, right? His eyes darted to the god in front of him searching for any indicator that it was indeed just a jest, yet the man only glanced to the side, face showing a sort of awkwardness along with annoyance. "It is... No jest really." Amartya spoke, as if reading the angel's mind. They both shared an awkward moment of silence before the god decided to speak again. "I would imagine it means he's still somewhere in Myrk." The angel nodded, but unfortunately Myrk was far too vast for that to be called an actual clue, but it made sense, there was no way searching for a fugitive criminal would be easy. The angel took a deep breath before handing the letter back to the god and opening his mouth. "Perhaps he means in a cave? Or somewhere dark..." Amartya pondered for a second before nodding to his own thoughts. "On the waste lands of Myrk there are quite a few caves, it may be a good place to start." Once they both agreed, they parted aways, and by that it means that Amartya teleported to Myrk using the shadows leaving the poor angel to fly down himself once again.
Waste lands, Myrk
If we move now to the promised location, we can see two people in completely different situations... One stood quiet normally just staring down at the other who breathed heavily grabbing his knees to support himself... "Lux, do you need another moment, or can we start looking for that man?" Perhaps in the angel mind he was cursing the god but with a deep breath he only stood up again, his wings stretching before going back to their normal stance. "We can go My Lord." With a nod from the god, they both began to search through the cave system.
They moved in silence trough the various tunnels but to no avail, not a single trace of life could be seen, Lux nibbled on his lips in nervousness, if this ordeal took much of their precious time Naki life could be put in dire risk... "My Lord perhaps we should each go to a different side? I would anticipate it would take less of your precious time..." They stared at each other for a few seconds, somehow the god seemed hesitant, the reason for it being unclear, but after a moment Amartya only nodded his head in agreement. "I'll take the left, you take the right." And with that they both parted ways again.
Lux continued searching, his eyes darting around in the shadow trying to find any track that the person he was searching could have left. Anything at all. All hope seemed to have vanished in his heart, until a spark ignited. Mana trace. He found it! Finally! Surely this was him! It had to be him! Expectantly, he turned around only to be surprised by the finding of a demon child standing in front of him... The child stared at the angel with teary round golden eyes, soft features twisting in fear, his chubby hands grabbing the brim of his oversize robes... Lux was brought back to reality as he noticed how the small demon was shaking in his spot, his eyes soften as he took a knee to get on the same level as the child. "I apologize for scaring you little one... What is your name?"
The angel spoke, yet the child did not dare to answer, biting his lips to prevent his tears from falling, trying to calm them down Lux gently placed his hand on the small demon head. "Are your parents in here?" The child softly shook his head, the tears falling from his sparkling eyes. The angel sighed softly grabbing the demon's hand. "Come now little one, I'll take you out of here." Lux got back on his feet and took a step. No, that's not quite right. He tried to take a step. Yet his body didn't move. Confused, he tried to open his mouth to ask, but his voice also didn't come out. "Mister, were you not searching for someone?" The child smiled, his tears were no longer there, his eyes no longer sparkled, and a glint of vermillion could be seen shinning in his irises. Lux could feel something was wrong. The mana he was felling from the child grew bigger than before. Way bigger. "For a general, you truly are naïve Mister!" The demon sneakered, he let go of the angels hand, yet the latter was still unable to control his body. Just what was happening? "That's quite enough isn't it." A new voice joined. Lux could feel his body relaxing the tiniest bit once the figure of the god made it's way to his vision, yet his curiosity was raised by the small red butterfly accompanying him. "Ruining my fun as always, are you?" The demon whined, crossing his arms. The god only stared down at him, not seeing any bit apprehensive. "Would you get back to your real form Killian?" The demon smiled again, and with a snap of his fingers he grew in size, now being only slightly shorter than Lux himself, his golden eyes grew more narrowed, his hair grew longer, the once oversized robe now fitted him well, yet it looked like it was lazily done as it didn't close well, exposing the demon chest almost in whole. "You could have just said you missed my face, dear!" Amartya still stood unamused, glancing at the angel who still couldn't move as the butterfly made it's way to Killian before vanishing into a small red mist. "Let him go." The demon only chuckled before snaping his fingers again, and just like that Lux was able to move again, immediately taking a step back, yet dare not speak. The god and the demon stood still, only staring at each other, the angel tried, yet he could not understand what was happening, it felt as if the other two were having a private conversation with only their eyes... "You took the left Tya." The demon smiled as he watched the corner of the god's eyebrow twitch for the nickname, but the former didn't comment on it this time. "You chose the right." Amartya answered, and once again they both feel into silence for a short while, until Killian gave them both a closed eyed smile. "Come now loves! Follow me!"
